With the changes to the Rancher and Foreman last year, I would have thought that the Rincon would have changed as well…like maybe a larger engine with more power and a totally different design. Instead, the model looks the same on their website. I expected more from Honda than this.
As title states. I have a 2000 fourtrax 300. Compression is at 190 and has a bright blue spark. Just cleaned carb thoroughly and plug is wet with fuel. I noticed when starting with the choke the air box flexes like its building pressure. Sometimes it appears gas is coming out air box. I was thinking tight intake valve, but at TDC they were both loose. My next thought was timing jumped, but with 190 compression i didn’t think that was the issue.
The more i think about it im thinking sheared flywheel key or possibly jumped a tooth on timing. Any inputs or ideas of how to narrow this down? any way to check flywheel key short of removing shaft and fly wheel cover?
Anybody have a set of these new Wild Thang tires, the price is pretty reasonably but I’d sure like to know how they measure up height wise?? Some brands are up to 2" shorter than listed.

I have a 2010 850xp. I’ve charged the battery all the way up and it still won’t start. Makes the clicking sound like the battery is dead. If I turn the headlights on everything goes dim. Wondering if it could be a ground problem if so I was wondering where the main ground is located. Thank you
