first time with hot legs!!

wow..its about 84 degrees here in new york and i just got my first taste of hot legs. it was so hot i had to adjust my footing to stay away from it.
took off my side cover and found out what you guys have talking about, the cvt vent going into the heat shield.

what i shitty setup that is!! needless to say ill be on that making some kind of modification to it.

to me there is no logic to run the cvt exhaust like that, can-am has some good stuff going on here and its too bad they have to do dumb shit like that.:th_smiliefrustrated

ISO 07 outlaw 525 engine

Ok, so I’m new to forums all together so with that being said please bare with me.

I’ve recently traded for an 07 outlaw 525 irs. The owner before the guy i got it from had removed the motor and its been missing ever since. ive searched all over with no luck finding any solid engine / transmission assembly for it. hoping someone on here can point me in the right direction. its also missing the carb, starter, chain, and likely a few other parts.

New member from southwest Louisiana

Hello everyone, I am from the big town, I mean map dot of singer la. I have had a few older Hondas, my little boy is starting to get interested in riding. We usually ride a little recon but I have a 86 350d that I need to get going and I like reading about four wheelers and looking at pictures.

07 800 outlander no spark

Had my bike out over the weekend was working great , went through a water hole and still worked fine shut it off and then started it again ten minutes later for a short run . Went to start it after that no spark . Got it home and found the fuse box was a little damp so cleaned it up and F1 ignition fuse was blown , replaced it and the bike started for a minute then quit , it had blown the same fuse , replaced it again and hasn’t blown it but no spark . Have all power on the speedo and fuel pump is working . Any help appreciated

96 scrambler 400 4×4 help

Hello all,

recently I purchased a 96 scrambler that was in decent shape. In going through it, I noticed the front right shaft boot was badly torn. I decided to replace the entire shaft so i purchased one from ebay after matching part numbers ect.

I get the shaft today, get the old one out and then,…..noticed that the shaft that came out of the wheeler has a long key way that holds the clutch assembly not the multi spline that I purchased. I also noticed that the bearings seem to be a few thousandths too small to fit on the shaft. Im fairly sure i got the right shaft in the mail so my question is what year and or model took a single spline/key way drive for the hub. Im guessing it took a doner from some other machine?

Changing differential fluids

I plan to change the fluids in my front and rear diff pretty soon, and I was planning on using Valvoline or Mobil 1 75w-90 for the front and Valvoline or Mobil 1 75w-140 in the rear. It’s a 2011 Outlander 500.

Advance Auto Parts: Search Results for 75w-90

The Mobil 1 75w-90 is $12.99 and the Valvoline is $11.49.

The Valvoline 75w-140 is $13.99 and Mobil 1 is $19.99.

My other question is there’s a Lucas Oil 75w-90 Marine Gear Oil for $14.99. Is that worth getting for the "marine" properties or is it just marketing…or not compatible altogether?
