Just curious if anyone knows a good location to find oem plastics or aftermarket plastics for 86 fourtrax 350, I am new to this forum. I tried to search for this topic but could not get search to work. Thanks guys
I stopped at Advanced Auto this afternoon to get a replacement spark plug for my Sportsman ETX. The manual says it’s a Champion RG6YC. One of the plugs they told me was a cross reference was an NGK TR5. But I’m really confused. Trying to compare specs, the NGK says the thread body is 14mm. Another site says the Champion is also 14mm. But something else I found says the Champion thread body is 10mm. And nowhere that I found online shows the TR5 as a cross reference to the RG6YC. Any one with any thoughts?
Looking flr a difinitive answer from somebody who has heard both the SPI and HMF Swamp series (NOT the xl). Which is quieter. Yes I saw the thread where the spi was actually metered within the common 96db rule.
I have a yoshi slip on which is terribly not trail friendly…even after i modofied the quiet core a bit my XMR 1000 still sounds like an sk modofied barreling through the woods.
Threw the stock exhaust on and well, i thought my seat and rear fender were going to melt, even with my header wrapped and tuner on it. So i need something with better flow without the sonic boom of the yoshi, and still be under 96db at cruising speed. All my research says spi or swamp series.

Looking for advice on clutches for a Renegade 1000Xxc. What’s the best out there, and maybe even more importantly….. who can provide the best set-up based on the machines specs, and riding conditions? I want something plug and play, as I have no desire or time to do my own clutch tuning-testing. I’m looking to improve low end and mid range acceleration. I’m not even concerned if I loose some top end speed to achieve more bottom end acceleration. Thanks in advance for any advice!

I was riding my wheeler last weekend when running down a fire road at wide open throttle and the steering wheel light with exclamation point flashed on the pod . nothing seem wrong but did happen one more time that day . Seems to run and work fine but don’t like problems with a new machine . Any thoughts ? The only thing I did was tighten the battery cables about half a turn .
