The Rancher 420 DCT EPS is kid-friendly…

Howdy OHV friends. I took my family to the Cinder Hills OHV area in Flagstaff AZ yesterday and we relaxed and rode our 2016 Rancher 420 4×4 DCT EPS for several hours. First of all, this area is awesome if you’ve never been there. Second, I realized once again how family-friendly the Rancher is. I ride it in ESP mode all over the area, climbing monster hills and having a blast. Then my wife hops on and explores around with a smile on her face in AUTO mode. Then my 6-year-old and 9-year-old can’t get enough of it. The power steering and automatic transmission, plus medium size of the Rancher make it fun for the whole family. I know the topic of how old/how large kids should ride can be controversial, but for those looking into the Rancher 420, I would say from personal experience that the 4×4 DCT EPS version is very kid-friendly. TRX420FA2 is the model. Check it out:

What size are tie rod ends on 300ex?

Hi everyone. My name is Sean and I’m new to this forum. I recently got a used ATV. It is a 2003 Honda 300EX. I am in the process of installing new tie rod ends and I came across a problem. The replacement tie rod ends are much smaller than the ones I took off. Not only are they shorter but the bolt is also smaller in diameter.
A friend of mine suggested that maybe the ones i removed were an upgrade that were larger than the stock ones. They look stock but i don’t know for sure.
Can anyone tell me the dimensions of the tie rod ends that come stock on 300EX?
The ones that I removed are 3" long and the bolts on them are 7/16" diameter.
The new ones are 2 5/8" long and the bolts on them are 3/8" diameter.

2001 sportsman 400

My battery keeps going dead there is about a constant 10 amp drain on it. I have unplugged the speedo cluster. Unhooked the three fuse/ breakers behind the front panel one
a time. Nothing I’ve done stopped the drain. Anyone have any ideas

Wrapped it myself!

Finally broke down and wrapped my 500 Touring. It was Red, and getting pretty scratched up due to trail riding. I am not a camo guy, so decided to be a little different. I am happy with the results. Took forever! Needed lots of Patience for sure!

Bad Starter?

Went riding this morning and was doing some cleanup on the trails and a few times I’d hit the start button and get no response or a quick crank and then nothing. Question is, is the starter to blame or the solenoid? I do not hear any clicking when hitting the button so my guess would be the solenoid but don’t have a whole lot of experience with starters.
