Recently bought a 2003 trx350 rancher. I’ve been trying to figure out to shift it into reverse and I’ve noticed from other similar 350s that there is a reverse button next to the brake lever. Mine does not have that. Did the previous owner remove this or??? If so anyone out there have one I can buy? Also anyway I can just manuel shift it without the button?

Has anyone put a moose front bumper on a newer model of sportsman? I have a 2016 570 and I really love the look of the moose front bumpers. Please help 🙂

I just purchased an H4 hid conversion kit from OPT7 for my 16 Outlander 570XMR.

The black plastic sleeve which slides into the oem rear housing is too big. Has anyone had an issue with this? If I grind it down to the size it needs to be to fit the wall of the sleeve will collapse. It’s about 0.050" too big.

OK< I got a free riding mower, it has NO decals on it, and of unknown make and model
has a Brigs and Stratton motor, again with no easy to find serial numbers, I think there is some , if I want to dismantle half of the machine LOL

ANY how, here is the issue

it starts fine, idles fine
give it any throttle and it bogs, backfires and stalls
can play with choke and it will run a little
the throttle has a issue with slack in the system, which I don’t see a easy fix, it is two plates that slide there is NO movement in these plates from about 1/4 throttle to about 3/4’s then it jumps
its NOT binding, it just doesn’t move

NOW for what I have done
removed tank, drained, cleaned out, all new FRESH fuel with a little sea foam in it
, took carb apart and cleaned (NASTY dirty)
cannot find any info on carb, or would have liked to do a rebuild or, heck maybe even replace due to how nasty it is/was!

After that, it ran smoother, but just couldn’;t get rid of random back firing
SO< took apart a few more times and cleaned over and over, ,replaced fuel line , as think crap was laying in it??

ran a LOT better with air filter OFF< than with it on??

got it running OK
drive it around, ALL OK
start mowing lawn all good for 5-6 minutes then stalls
have to pull choke out some to get going??
then runs good 5-6 minutes then stalls?? second time it stalls, I need to run almost half choke, 3rd time needed full choke to run
then won’t run with choke on, but runs fine with it off BUT every 5-6 minuets it dies and stalls
OR should say every time I get about a 150 yards from my tools LOL

made a bunch of adjustments to carb trying to get it smoother, but still back fires
replaced the plug too forgot to add above?/

but no mater what I do, it stalls every 5 minutes and will ONLY run if I add a little choke till I am at full choke, and then after that ONLY starts if choke is off and repeat>>
driving me nuts??
from running good to dead?? every 5 minutes

Gave up playing today, as the darn belt for the blade snapped?? so, NEW issue added to the mix

any thoughts or suggestions??

I know some people use the control mod but why would you prefer that over a toggle switch where it can be turned on or off anytime you want the fan to run? Will the fan being put on a toggle switch alone mess anything up?

I have a 2004 Yamaha Grizzly 660 that recently starting popping very loudly from time to time when climbing small inclines. I was hoping that the members here could help me figure out what to look at first based upon a video i wanted to upload. Unfortunately it will not let me upload a video to this site.

The loud popping doesnt happen all of the time but can normally be reproduced when climbing a small incline. It will pop loudly and jerk a little bit when it pops. I have no idea where to start troubleshooting to determine the cause of the problem. Any guidance would be appreciated.
