How to make a 420 fast?

Hi I have a 420 I I I was it to be faster than a grizzly 660 and a Polaris ranger on 29.5. My Honda 420 is 100 percent stock and I will be getting tires later on but I want to know how I could make if faster? How about a clutch kit? Also itis a 2016.

Thanks for all the help

Wes Classic Econo seat

Hopefully you guys will forgive me for posting a pic of my Can Am, but I ordered a Wes Classic Econo rear seat/storage box and installed it after getting it in today.

I bought it for what I thought was a good price and decided to do 1 day shipping so I would have it by tomorrow to have for a trail ride. However, I found out today the damn trails will be closed Saturday due to some storms we’ve had here in Virginia and will reopen Sunday. So I don’t know if I’ll get to go riding this weekend or not.

I took my 8 year old out on it this afternoon, and he loved it. We went in our woods, and I’ve never heard him giggling and cackling so much while riding. It’s so much better not having arms wrapped around your waist or having someone sitting in front of you.

Do you Power Wash?

I know we aren’t supposed to power wash ATV’s but I’m wondering if others do anyway without it being a problem. That is what I hope, anyway, because it sure is a fast easy way to get a lot of dry caked mud off.

Here is how I do it and how I rationalize it. At the car wash I set the switch to rinse because I don’t want soap. Soap dissolves grease and we don’t want that. I’m washing off dirt not grease. I spray the whole bike from several feet away just to get it wet and to soften up the crusty dirt. Then I get a little closer to use the force of the water to blast the dirt off of the plastic panels, fenders top and bottom and the wheels. I mostly avoid any area with a zirk fitting or anything electrical. I do this about every 100 miles of use.

Does this seem reasonable or is it too risky? If a lot of use power wash with soap, to no avial, my method should be good.
