I recently sanded the plastics down with 400grit sandpaper then 2000 then used a heat gun to bring some life back to the plastic. But the factory shine finish isn’t there any more so the dirt sticks to the plastics and the plastic is some what fought, not as smooth as the fronts. I tried mothers plastic restore but that didn’t help any suggestions.
So it was my first time riding lost trails in PA…….I have a GSE performance exhaust if anyone wanted to know. Here are the videos.
This place could use a little less rocky trails. Other then that it was an AWESOME trip. We rode literally from open to close. 9am till 430pm……I am still hurting lol.
My videos were shot with a Hero 4 and my buddy shot his on a Hero 3.
My 99 recon’s rear axle was moving side to side so I ordered a bearing kit. Worked out a trade with a guy for the bearing replacement and he calls and tells me that the axle nut was loose and that the bearings look good. After he got it all together I ride it for a few days with a 25 gallon spray rig on the back and notice the axle started to move again. The axle nuts were loose and so I broke the jam nut off and tightened it up and snugged up the jam nut. A few days later the same thing happend. So what do y’all think? Bearing?
