Starter Troubles / Failure / Inconsistent

2006 Grizzly

has been starting fine , till we made a trip and pulled off trailer .. then nothing ..

I have verified fully charged battery
Cleaned all contacts , terminals and ground connections
Checked starter on bench

I did find if i had tapped Relay , starter would function … Seems clear what could possibly be wrong ..

I had tapped relay a few times and the starter non stop (key off , kill switch engaged) until i pulled battery cable.

Ordered a new Relay , Installed and hit the starter button and nothing ..

Measured with volt meter and confirmed , not a click of relay at all . turn switch off and tried again and then the starter ran non-stop again till i pulled battery cable

So it would seem the relay was not the problem , the starter appears fine , terminals and ground are clean

Any suggestions on what would be next ?

Thanks

Brad

Fuel can mounts for 850 xmr

Anybody got any ideas for mounting a fuel can system on the rear or anywhere else? I have the linq 6 and a can am bag on the back that I don’t want to have to move. Looking for some suggestions or ideas. I have looked at rotopax but don’t know how I would make them fit will the bad and rack extension.

420 starting problems

Have a 2007 420 rancher, just had a big bore kit installed, and a starter is 2 months old. When I try to start the bike you can only hear the starter spinning, then it will sound like the teeth in the shaft catch the wheel and it will start then, any idea what is wrong.

1986 trx 350 shifting issue

After days of searching I can’t find a specific answer to my problem. While not running I can shift smooth through all the gears. Even after I start it. I out it in first and take off and can’t get it to shift unless I slow way down then it will shift. But a little jerky. I have adjusted the clutch to 1/4 turn out from slightly seated. No change. If I hold up on the shift lever it stays in gear so I am assuming the shift plates are stuck together. It has sat up for a while. I changed the oil today( 10w40) and front and rear diff oil( all looked great) but at least it’s done. I read where I can add a little marvel mystery oil and that will help free them, so I’ve done that. So I guess now I just need to ride the mess out of it and see it it will free up? I tried holding the brakes and giving it throttle with no luck. Does this sound like just plates issue to you guys or something more?

Just got my first Polaris today!

Hi guys, just wanted to say hi. I am a new member and i just got a (new to me) 2015 Polaris sportsman xp 1000. I got it with 250 miles on it and fairly clean. This is my first ATV since I was a little kid and had a Honda 125. Here are a few pictures. I installed a rear rack extender today and I have a front rack extender on the way. I also have an ATV Guru front bumper on the way. Also, I took all of the warning stickers off after I took these pictures.
