First time greasing my G2 Outlander…I want to sell it.

You have got to be kidding me. 16 zerks. Most of them are nearly impossible to reach.

It looks like I have to take off the front black plastic engine covers on the front and left sides? They both have 10 freaking black plugs in them to get them off. THE BLACK PLUGS NEVER COME OUT and if you do get them out they are mangled..

Am I doing something wrong or what? It is absurd that it’s this difficult to grease these machines. :th_smiliepissed::th_smiliepissed::th_smiliepissed :

I see people online saying "oh quick 20 minutes job!" yeah maybe if you had 20 guys working on the quad at the same time…

My G1 I could legitimately do in 30 minutes without any raging frustrations.

Goes into limp mode when fan comes on

So I never had an over heating problem until once my fan got plugged up and it got real hot and boiled over. I got the fan free and cleaned the raidator but had no extra coolant to put in but I had to run it 10 miles back to the shop and re filled it. But now it seems as if as soon as the fan comes on it goes into limp mode(or it could be the opposite it’s hard to tell) but I think I got all the air out of the system but it’s still doing it. What could it be? Temp sensor? Still air in system?

my 07 sportsman efi 500 has a starting problem it don’t happen every time .was wondering if any one else has had it.some times when you turn the key it just makes a clicking noise and if you hold the key on start the dash lights go on and off but sometimes it will start.I tried to put up a short video but that didn’t work

2014 outlander xmr 1000 trouble shoot?

Hey guys,

I’ve been trying to help diagnose my neighbors bike for a little while now. We have replaced fuel pump, plug, and done the fan mod. What we are running into is when the bike reaches 6 bars of heat it will start sputtering and cutting off. Up until that point it runs perfect. Any other ideas would be great. I have read and read and read threads on here but never found a definitive answer as to where to start. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
