Maybe this is a dumb question, but again I’m new to Polaris. When high beams are switched on should both the handlebar light and the 2 lower front headlights come on? It’s an 05 Sportsman 800, when I first test rode it down the driveway I turned high beams on and the front 2 went out and the handlebar light came on and flickered a little bit then never worked again. The bulb looks to be in good shape, battery terminals are tight and clean, and I took the cover off the light and jiggled the wires a little to see if it was just a short. Any ideas? Haven’t checked the fuses because I don’t know where the fuse box is
Hey friends I gotta question, I’ve got a 2013 outlander 800r, I’ve got a dead spot in throttle at low rpms it feels like the throttle is struggling for gas, it goes back n forth it feels like the old carburetion and a bad govenor, does or has anyone got any experience with this? I just got the break in service done and asked the dealer to check it out, they adjusted the cable but still have this issue.

For those of you who ride at places where flags are required, how do mount the flag on the your 570? I have tried using the holes on the back right and left of the rear rack. It works, but I fear eventually the this method will end up breaking the rack plastic. Suggestions / Opinions?
About to bite the bullet on a new 2015 Sportsman 570 (it has 3.8 miles on it, was a giveaway for a local business and the guy who won it did not want an atv, so he traded it on a truck). The used-car dealer is asking $5,000- which seems reasonable.
I want this for my new property to use as a work vehicle- with a snow/gravel plow (1,200 foot gravel driveway) and to tow a utility trailer.
Anyway, my dilemma is that I am struggling with the Polaris accessories- pricing and fitment. While I can find many parts on their website that are related to snowplows, I can’t find anything that says "Here are the exact parts you need to install a plow on a Sportsman 570".
I think I only need 2- first the 2881424, which is described as "Polaris Integrated Plow Mount – Frame Attachment" and 2879630 "Glacier PRO Plow Frame". Is that right? Plus an actual plow blade, of course. Please tell me I don’t have to buy a Polaris branded blade!
The second part of this post is related to the winch. I see Polaris sells their own which bolts on and uses pre-existing wiring to connect with the handlebar switch (also supplied in the kit). Problem is- stupid pricing. I can buy a Superwinch on Amazon for $125, and Cabela’s has a 2200# winch (Warn) for $170 right now, Polaris pricing is $380. I understand I would have to buy a mounting plate (KFI for $43), and wiring the switch to the handlebar may require some MacGyvering to accomplish, but still. And Polaris must have a very firm grip on dealers’ private parts because NOBODY is selling the Polaris HD winches for less than msrp.
Thanks for any help, my brother has been some help but he only has experience with off-road sport atvs. He just told me that the best ones are Polaris and Honda and to avoid Arctic Cat, Kawasaki and Suzuki.
I thought it was a dead battery, but after changing it still no joy. Tested starter relay and seemed corroded so replaced it. Have 12v at the relay, 12v at the ignition key, 12v at the white connector side of the regulator/rectifier, but when I turn the key on, no lights (neutral, oil etc) and no electric start. If I jump from the battery directly to the starter lead, it cranks and starts just fine.
Seems obviously electrical and I have tried to follow the diagrams in the manual but I’m obviously missing something, hopefully simple. Not sure what to test next for voltage or what voltages should be with key on/off etc. any suggestions are welcome.

Purchased a new trailer for my newly accuried Grizzly 600 & Kodiak 400. The Northstar UNISTAR model fit the bill. The side loading is simple. It also has a rear tailgate ramp option. It pulls nice behind the truck and with the mesh flooring you can pressure wash your rigs without having to unload them.
I have a 2010 sportsman 550xp. I was thinking about going with 27×9-14 front and 27×11-14 for the rear . Will this size fit ? Will there be any rubbing ? Any help would be appreciated, still have the stock tires on.
