I have a sportsman 570 and I am very satisfied with the power and performance of the bike but I am having problems recently first the lights wouldn’t work but pod lit up with key on all fuses good all relays are good. So stripped the bike down and I can shake the fuse box and they come on and off but I can’t find a bad wire anywhere all fuse contacts are all the way up. The other day we messed with it and it got to where it would not mess up so we put the bike back together and backed it out of the shop then five minutes later went to crank it and it wouldn’t fire (new problem) we noticed the chk eng. Light came on but the digital screen freezes so no code. Turn the key off and back on a few times and eventually it will fire and run fine. But the lights flash on and off some times. Im ready to pull my hair out!!! Any suggestions?
Also died on trail the other day and would not fire for about twenty min
Well, I recieved a wolfsnout a couple years back as a gift… It has worked well the few times I’ve used it… But despite my rare use of it, it hasn’t held up well. It’s splitting at numerous seams. Is there anything you would recommend to fix it? Any special type of glue I could use? It’s not usable in its current state.
I’m looking at upgarding my tires so i can get better traction while out and a little more clearance. Does anyone know if I can leave my stock wheels on and just bump the tires up to 27" or maybe 28" depending on the tire?
This is for all my bored out 400’s, I bought this 400 with a carb prob, wasn’t jetted and running lean, I ended up with a 180 main and a 48 pilot, this bike running lean was pulling trucks on a stock 400ex which was tested truly as my brother owns a completely stock one, where am I at? 416, 426? 440?(highly doubt the 440) but I have a K&n intake, the jets and a slip on

I purchased a 05 Rancher not running. After cleaning the carb i got it running but have been tracking down top end noise since then. Yesterday i took the top end apart and found the piston, rings, and cylinder badly damaged. It was running well just noisy. I have ordered a new cylinder kit, but want to make sure i understand what caused the problem before i have it again. The piston and cylinder are scrapped up badly on 1 side as seen in the picture. The bike was low on oil when i purchased it but i changed it prior to running it. The rod appears to be straight, at least i cant see any twist in it with the naked eye. I have seen some thread about the oil cooling fan not running cause some issues, could this be my issue? I didnt drive it much after getting it running but the little i did i didnt notice the fan running.
