I have a 2008 outlander xt. it starts & idles at 1250 +/- 100. it has a programmer/fuel optimizer, hmf pipe, sitting on 30" silverbacks. after it gets warmed up it surges off idle. if it is past 1/5 throttle it will die unless you get off throttle but it will idle all day. I checked vent lines, cleaned k/n air filter, put new fuel filter, plugs & took fuel cap off while riding, nothing helped. any help would be greatly appreciated.
Trade 2013 Scrambler for RZR-ohio
Looking for someone who may be interested in trading. I have a scrambler with almost no miles on it (less than 100 I think), big gun exhaust, New black diamond tires, snorkel kit and power commander. I have a daughter who now always wants to go and I’d love to get a rzr but the dealer is killing me. Figured I’d try hard to see what I may find. Of course I’m will to make other trades/cash/etc for the deal. Located in Columbus ohio.

I’m torn. I’ve eliminated the polaris sportsman 1000 because I’m just scared of problems on a brand new model.
I have it narrowed to a 2015 XmR650 with winch for $11,199 OTD
And a 2015 800xt for $11,399 OTD
I do plan to hit trails through woods and yard type stuff but the abilities of the XMR and LOOKS! I absolutely love.
I won’t have money for anything else for atleast a year as my house needs attention this year too so I’m pretty much at a loss.
My brain says take two they’re small! But that’s just not feasible.
Any pointers, help, thoughts are appreciated
Pet friendly hear HMT?
Change of plans this weekend for us and we have to bring the dogs with us to pick up the RZR from Abernathy’s. We originally planned on riding down in the TWRA trails but I figure we have better chances of finding a pet friendly place near HM. Anyone have any suggestion for a pet friendly, hopefully affordable, cabin?

Hello all,
First off I am knew to Atvs and I previously bought a 2001 polaris scrambler 500, I got it pretty cheap hoping to have a low maintenance atv I would just have routine maintenance done by a dealer well that was not the case.
As a first time buyer I had no clue what to look for when buying an atv this ended up getting me in a hobbie I really enjoy now.
This Atv had multiple problems after a dealer looked at it shocks were out rear brake overheating bad gas leak ect.
They told me it was trash and would not touch it, angry I bought myself a manual and fixed a couple of the major issues gas leak overheating and the rear shock. All turned out to be pretty easy fixes and it seems there might be light at the end of the tunnel, as I started out not wanting to really work on it, as I have continued I have really enjoyed working on it and seeing how it performed once the job was done.
Which brings me to my next possible project so apparently the carb on it is not the right one it seems to work but I just don’t think the power is right and feel like it could be from the cheap carb that was put on it, I see people doing wheelies with their scramblers I can lean on the back like them and not even get the top end to lift up, so does anyone believe it is due to this cheap carb or something else? Also there seems to be a hole between the pipe and the muffler right where they connect not sure if that does anything but thought I’d share everything I know.
Please share your thoughts and suggestions, they are greatly appreciated.

I want to immediately purchase (4) 30×10-15 Motor Hammer tires, and a complete (4) set of wheels.
A couple of days ago, I thought I knew exactly what I wanted, in the way of wheels, but after a day off and a lot of research, I’m a bit lost in it all, again…
So Vendors, please PM me your best price(s) on the Hammers, in the size that I’ve requested..and as for wheels, I am leaning toward beadlocks (of good quality, respectfully), but not an ULTRA expensive beadlock.
If you have more than one ‘package deal’ on sale (ie: different wheels to choose from), then PLEASE give me options…if you only have one special going, on the tires I’ve selected, then give me that…heck, if you’ve got a good deal on tires only (no wheels included), I very much want to hear of that, also! I can piece a deal together, no problem…
(I will tell you that I am fond of a wheel that is as close to stock offset as possible, as I am somewhat concerned about the strain that a large positive offset will create on bearings, ball joints, tie rods, etc…I don’t know if a 5+2 offset is available in a 15" wheel.(???)
Also, I would like to have to have the option of putting a blue ring on the beadlock. I would prefer black (centers) wheels, but again, not a must IF ‘the price is right’/ you have a good deal on a particular item. )

belt question.
I have a 2014 800 S LE it came with belt number 3211162, I ordered a spare and they told me the belt is 3211113. I had not seen the belt that came on the Rzr until after I bought the spare.
Question is will it work as a spare and get me back to my trailer if my stock one breaks?
I have looked up a lot of information on the belts and it gets very confusing with all the different part numbers etc.
Another question, how exactly does one break in a belt? I have read the manual and followed those instructions but then I am seeing this soap and heating it stuff. What works best?
