So i just wanted to drop a quick shout out to anyone who has the outlander L 500 and is thinking of installing a clutch kit. .i just recently ordered the clutch kit from Dalton industries and installed it today and holy smackers! I’m running the stock tires it came with and doing wheelies! This kit is well worth the $77.00 Canadian i paid plus the shipping! ! The low gear is where you really feel it, however I’m sure if you pull hard enough in your handlebars in high gear, you’ll be lifting that front end no problem. Anyway, just wanted to put that it there, hoping it may help someone in there decision, and give a two thumbs up to Dalton industries for the great product!

So two days ago a buddy and myself are moose hunting. We are lucky enough to get an animal, and had to take it out across some wet boggy areas.

Im not new to ATV riding, or to Can-Am in general. I had an 06 650. This year I purchased a ’15 1000 MAX XT and my buddy has the single seat of the same bike.

So…I got stuck. There was no getting out myself easily. My buddy backs up to my bike and hooks on to me. We start pulling in low 4WD and smoke the crap put of both belts! Not a great day.

He has 27" ITP Mega Mayhems, and I have the same tire in 28". So now come the repairs. Im putting my bike in the shop Tuesday for the first service and a new belt. Im opting for the more durable belt…dealer said its in the 189.00 range…he said its the same belt used on the 1000 turbo maverick.

Im also going to get a Dalton Clutch Kit. I had one on the 06 650 I had, but I was running 28" Mudzillas on that….quite a lot heavier than the Mayhems.

Should this help with the issues of being stuck and burning belts, or should I go another direction?

The only plow mount that I’ve found from any brand that lists the 2015 "L" for fitment is Cycle Country. The mount is: CYCLE COUNTRY 15-7571 MID FRAME PLOW MOUNT

Has anyone else bought and mounted up another brand (other than CanAm’s brand) to the 2015 "L" Outlander?

I was looking at Eagle plows, but I’ve tried to contact them 5 times and can’t get them to tell me about whether they have a mounting plate to fit the "L" machines. Maybe someday they’ll get back with me.

Motoalliance had great customer service on my question, but they are guessing that the XT mounting plate will fit the "L" model of outlanders. I don’t want to order and be wrong.

Hey everyone,

I recently purchased a ’15 XT 1000. I ordered all the accessories I thought I would like including cammo decals for the windshield and rear cargo box. They look like crap. They don’t match the cammo pattern on the bike at all!

Is there anyone that makes an exact…or much better…kit to replace these that I have now?

Will outlander L 570 xmr heavy duty front bumper fit in the 2015 outlander L 500 without any issues? I like the new bumper that holds the rad relocate as well as just being a bumper! Anyone have input? ? I definitely know if it were to work the front rack would have to be removed, no worries there

I just bought my first Can Am today, a new 2015 650xt. Only had the chance to ride around my yard but I can already tell I’m going to like it. Anything I should know about the 650s or Can am in general. I’m ready to hit some trails and mud! Thanks!

What oil filter is everyone running?? When i did my 10hr service i just use the can am oil change kit. But i noticed alot of guys are not running the XPS oil. So are you running the oem filters? Or an aftermarket one like K&N. I know K&N air filters are not that great to use.
