Trailboss 330 issue

2006 TB 330, The issue is the bike will start and run. When I say run it runs "ok" it seems to initially be down on power but runs ok. You can drive it up and down the street for several minutes. After about 3-5 min the bike runs worse and worse going slower and slower and then eventually dies. Once it has died it will not restart. After some time (I have never timed it) it will start fine and the same cycle continues.

I have cleaned the carb and replaced with new jets.
Replaced the fuel pump.
New spark plug.

It seems as if over time the engine slowly starts starving for fuel. Like the fuel pump can’t keep the bowl full (which is why I replaced the pump).

I’m pretty stumped. Any educated guesses would be appreciated.

Clutch cover kit

Does anybody know if you can get the updated 15 clutch cover kit without the belt? Thinking it would be way cheaper that way as I already have a couple spare gates belts

Why buy the tiny wife a MASSIVE quad?

What’s up everyone, I’ve been noticing a trend lately and I have to go off on a little tangent ….

Why in the hell are someone you guys buying your wives 800 and 1000cc outlanders? I dont know the size of some of these women, but no girl I’ve ever dated would be able to manhandle such a machine thru the tight brush safely. The worst of all are the guys who either buy her a XMR or throw massive tires and a lift kit at it.
Why would you ever trust your wife to control a 1k+ pound machine with a horrible center of gravity up steep hills and around narrow turns thru uneven terrain? it’s an accident waiting to happen in my eyes.

To be honest, I’m kind of against taking the wives and girlfriends on serious rides anyway but if you must buy her a quad, have a little sense and get her a 250-500cc class machine.

Just my opinion, feel free to share yours…….

Wanted: Oldest Active Certified Rotax Aircraft Engine

Gunskirchen, Austria, April 15, 2015 – BRP launches a contest to find the oldest active certified Rotax aircraft engine in operation to celebrate 40 years of Rotax aircraft engines.

“We are proud of 40 successful years of Rotax aircraft engines, which lead the ultra-light and light sport aircraft market worldwide. Our customers are brand ambassadors and an important part of our success story,” said Thomas Uhr, vice-president BRP-Powertrain and general manager BRP-Powertrain GmbH & Co KG. “To thank them for their loyalty, we decided to open the doors to where over 175,000 Rotax aircraft engines have been produced.”

The owner of the oldest active certified Rotax aircraft engine will be invited to visit, all expenses paid (up to €4,000), the Rotax factory in Gunskirchen, Austria, where BRP develops and produces the well-known engines.

The contest starts April 15, 2015 and runs through December 31, 2015. The winner will be notified in writing before February 1, 2016. Participants must provide a copy of the log book and latest proof of maintenance as well as personal contact information to his nearest authorized Rotax aircraft engine distributor. There are actually approximately 27,000 active 4-stroke and 13,000 active 2-stroke Rotax aircraft engines – certified and uncertified – in the fleet.

With more than 175,000 engines sold in 40 years, Rotax aircraft engines outperform the light sport and ultra-light aircraft market. With 19 authorized distributors and a network of more than 220 points of sale and repair centres supporting customers worldwide, BRP supplies engines to more than 80% of all aircraft manufacturers in its segment.

Clutch Tuning=HorsePower

I took my 2013 RZR XP4 900 into KMS Performance and had clutch tuning done. I went from 75.43HP to 83.77HP at the rear wheel. Pretty nice jump.
My current engine mods a are, Polaris Stage 2 Kit and KMS Performance Intake( Air filter relocated in the bed).
