’04 Sportsman 500 will not start, no fuel

OK, I searched the "stickies" but did not come up with my particular situation.
I have an ’04 Sportsman 500 HO carb model that will not start due to no fuel at the carburetor.
It started, so I let it warm up while I was getting a trailer ready. Then it just quit and will not re-start.
First, I pulled the fuel supply hose from the carb, nothing. With the supply line off I turned the fuel shutoff valve on/off/on several times, nothing. With the fuel supply line off I turned the ignition on and cranked over the engine, nothing. No fuel at the supply line under any condition.
Checked the fuel filter by removing and blowing air through it, air passes through without issue.
Removed the fuel line from the shutoff valve, plenty of fuel from the tank, no issue here.
Removed the fuel shutoff valve, it works as it should.
Removed the vacuum line from the carb to the fuel pump. No cracks, splits were found, hose looks good.
So, I’m down to the fuel pump right? I removed the fuel pump and I can blow/suck on the vacuum line and hear the pump making a noise like it is opening/closing.
So why am I not getting fuel to the carb? Am I on the right track? Do I need a new pump or can they be rebuilt?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

bumper and winch help

How are you supposed to mount the polaris extreme bumper and 3500 hd winch together? the bracket for the fairlead and the bumper mount in the same holes and the expansion sleeves that mount the bumper are not long enough to go through both and get a good bite. You can’t get behind with a nut when the front panel and brush guard are mounted. Thanks. This is on a 2015 rzr 900 trail.

What exhaust are you running?

Well I’m ready to order a full exhaust. I was thinking about the HMF for my 2012. I was wondering what you all are running and how well it’s working out for you. My only engine mod is the UMP air intake system with Napa filter. I’m not worried about noise, I just don’t want to lose HP as is the case with some aftermarket exhaust systems.
