ITP Blackwater Evo

Does anyone know if the 27" blackwater evo will work on the 2015 outlander 800 xt without modification or should I stick with the 26"?

Also, would you recommend these tire over the mud lite XTR for general use?

So far I have heard nothing but good for both tires, just wanting to get an idea of what everyone thinks.

Thank you in advance for your help and suggestions!

RZR Rodeo in Goldendale,WA.

——————————————————————————–

Started planning a UTV event at Eddieville Motorsports park. Possibly this September,November or next spring .

Thinking of a 2 day event with fun events for all ages/ abilities.

Saturday will be the rodeo ( All brands welcome) with multiple events to participate in.

So far the ideas include : Slalom: down and back through tires, timed.

Team Jousting: snagging rings hung/ supported and snagged with an appropriate lance.

obstacle course: hills, rocks ( big & little), logs,Tires, ….?

Motocross track -timed laps, wearing a water balloon- filled Bra- no head to head.

GP course timed, no head to head.

team egg carry/set/ retrieve( or water balloons)

2 vehicle team water carry: 1 UTV going forward 1 going backward ,supporting a gallon bucket of water with a hand held rope between them, down and back on a simple slalom exchanging forward/backwards positions and coming back to start through the slalom. Each vehicle goes forward one way and backwards the other. Communication skill test!

teeter totter? BIG totter!!

High jump?

Water crossing? how deep can YOU go.

Mud optional: trust me it’s a bear to clean up our mud. Maybe an optional route on the Slalom or obstacle course.

Sunday. Races -20 minute motocross, 45 minute GP -Baja start( 1 vehicle per 30 seconds) , supercross/endurocross on/in our 1/2 mile flattrack.

Food vendor, T-shirts, special awards, flush bathrooms, bleachers overlooking the flat track and overlooking the MX track

open to more suggestions

Just started brainstorming. The Over The Bars Gang race group run 800’s, 900’s , and 1000 RZR’s. We use them in our race setups and play with them in between events. In the past, we have put on truck & buggy races with a separate 6 hr UTV race. Sadly, when the economy tanked, participation in our truck & Buggy races went away. We are testing the waters to see if there is any interest in this event.

03-08 660 front diff rebuild questions….

Ok so I need to rebuild my from diff. I have the FSM for the 02 year. It doesn’t have any shims or crush sleeves for the pinion gear. Is this the same in the 03-08 years?
I’m doing this myself and confident I can set it up properly nice I know what’s going on in there.
How does the pinion depth get adjusted if there’s no shims? Preload specs?
I see the backlash is there and I understand that part but from watching people setup jeep axles I know there’s sposed to be some sort of pinion adjustment.
Little light shedding info is needed before I tear into the case.
Cheers Rkcrwlr

Weird jerking at takeoff…

So my wifes 2011 Polaris 550 is acting up. Didn’t really notice anything while riding on the dirt trails, but once we got on gravel or pavement we really noticed it.
When at a dead stop and you start accelerating, the wheeler jerks until it gets moving/rolling. Once your moving it doesn’t happen anymore until you come to a stop and then start going again. It seems more noticeable going forward vs. reverse.

If you watch the first video below and watch the back tire really close you will see it slip as i start going forward.

My initial thought was a flat spot on the belt, however when i took the belt off and measured it with a calipers i only found a .010" variation in 1 spot and it wasn’t glazed or anything. The wheeler only has a couple hundred miles on it and i’d like to be certain it’s the belt before i drop $100+ on a new belt.

Any ideas??
