NH or So. Maine ride

Looking for people interested in NH or So. Maine riding. I just registered in Maine and plan on riding the next month or so. Been fishing up till now. But ready to ride. Got to put some miles on my ATV. I’ve never riden in Maine but heard good trails not to far from me. I just don’t know how to find the access spots, lol.
Anyway tried to join ATV Alliance but they don’t seem to be approving new members so I can’t reply to the threads over there organizing weekend rides.
So if anyone is on here help me out. My two buddies that ride are less enthusiastic than me. One is busy working on his house and the other one is old, lol.
I must warn you I’m not a trail blazer. I have balance issues that have tempered my riding habits. Don’t get me wrong I’m not a pylon. I do what I can, which isn’t what it used to be. Not looking to play "catch up" on a group ride, especially not knowing the area. So like people riding would be good.

Let me know if your up for it.
Thanks,

Sportsman 90 in high altitude

Have a 2011 Sportsman 90 that will be headed up to about 9,000 ft + in a week or so.

I know that pulling the air box lid will help some, but just in case I thought I could move the clip on the needle up 1 or 2 slots to lean it out.

Problem is that I can’t find any sort of pic, video, or tutorial on how that is done. Anyone have a pic or info on this.

I don’t have the ATV here. So I will only have access once I am up there…can’t run out and take a look for myself.

Appreciate the help.

Please help 08 Honda rancher es 420

Edit: yes I have searched high and low for an answer…

Thanks for reading, my 08 rancher 420 es is having issues where it won’t shift, I replaced the angle sensor and still have the issue I’m getting codes 22 and 23 but the angle sensor is new. My battery is fully charged as well. I am able to manually shift it without any issues whatsoever. Any ideas? https://vimeo.com/187210261

Even when it’s in neutral manually it doesnt indicate that it is in neutral on the dash.

adding dry storage

I can not find the post on here to save my life. Somewhere on here someone added the dry storage container from the newer grizzlies to their bike (the one with the screw top on the right fender.)

can anyone help me out or have any ideas for storage. Under the seat has my winch contactor and there is no where for me to throw keys or a cell phone if i just want to hop on and ride for a few mins.

anyone else tried anything on these older Kodiaks

Brian

PS i do have 2 bags a huge one and a smaller front bag but im not too keen on them

1995 Fourtrax 300 4×4 Severe Vibration

I am new to the forum so thanks for having me……..making my 1st post.

I bought my ATV when it was new and its been bullet proof like the Honda name lives up to. However lately I have been having an issue when a severe vibration when getting up some speed in 3rd or 4th gear. The front end shakes badly even seeing the vibration in the fenders . Its hard to explain but its like a rhythmic vibration getting worse and letting off again and repeating until the speed is reduced back down to slow again. I had an issue once somewhat similar to this but it was more of a ‘grabbing’ feeling and it ended up being a seized bearing on the rear axle so I replaced it again but no luck. I then read on the forum that it could be either the change or centrifugal clutch but I removed them and they are still within specification. Now the universal joint in the rear drive shaft looks OK to me. Could it perhaps be something in the front differential or drive shaft(s). Would like to fix it before it breaks but at the same time a little intimidated and don’t want to make unnecessary work and part purchases.

Thanks for taking the time.
