Rear end clunk!!!

Well the honeymoon is over at 20 miles.
Started hearing the clunk towards the end of my ride the other day.
While sitting still if you rock the rzr side to side there is a loud clunk coming out of the drivers rear, I removed the shock, still does it. Greased all the zerks still does it.
I seen in other non 50" threads where people had similar problems but most of those were not diagnosed as sitting still.
Anyone one with suggestions? since popo wont pay for diagnosis if nothing is determined to be wrong.
Going to disconnect the rear sway bar tomorrow see if that changes anything. Sound like its coming out of that region, or maybe the cv joint.

9” wide front and rear?

hey guys im looking at getting new rims and tires for my 14 outlander max 1k. I am going to go with the itp mega mayhem tires and sti hd3 wheels. For the wheels i am thinking with getting the 14×7 for front and rear and then getting the mayhems in 28x9x14 front and back. Does that sound good or would you go with 28x11x14 tires for the rear? I personally like the look of the skinnier tires on the back and then also being able to rotate. Also i want to make sure that wheel and tire combo will fit the quad without rubbing.

Thanks!

Grizzly 660 poring fuel out!

So a little while ago I sold my grizzly 700 so I could buy a real nice, almost new 2005 grizz 660. Its only got 500 miles and looks brand new.

Over the last couple weeks all I’ve done is take it for a lap or 2 around the neighborhood. No issues at all, ran great. Well today I got around to doing an oil change on it. After filing the oil up and attempting to start the grizz, I notice it takes 6-7 cranks to start (usally it starts first crank, regardless of hot or cold, choke or no choke), but it did start. I ran it for a minute or 2, check oil again, fill to appropriate levels, and try to start it again. This time it will not start, just cranks. I’m freaking out a little, I didn’t know what damage I had just done by not having the oil totally topped off the first time I started it (when I checked the oil it wasn’t touching the dipstick yet). I looked around a little to find a huge puddle of what I thought was oil under the machine. After smelling it, I was happy to find it was just fuel. I also descover that crap loads of fuel is pouring out some black tube at skid plate level. After tracing this tube, it goes right into the bottom of the carb. I’m guessing this is float overflow.

So anyways, whats the cure for the grizzly?

I had a ride planned for Sunday so I’m hoping to work on it tomorrow night/Saturday to get it going.
