Duraclutch Question

Hello, im thinking about purchasing a duraclutch for my 14 rzr 900xp and just had a couple questions about it.

I ride mostly trail/woods so my average speed is anywhere from 10-20 mph in low range to keep the belt from slipping and getting too hot. What i hate about riding in low range is that when we come to a nice trail where i can run as fast as i want i have to completely stop and shift into high and take off for my short burst and once im out of nice trail i have to stop yet again and go back into low range. I guess what im asking is with the duraclutch system can i leave the thing in high and only use low range when im climbing over big obstacles slowly and not have to worry about burning anything up? Or would another clutch suite me better.

Thanks.

How are the 900s doing?

Time for us to upgrade. Just looking for some info on the 900s rzr’s.

I’ve had a 2011 800 since new and really didn’t have any major issues. Just stupid little stuff like bushings, bearings, and broken hub. So while those things are annoying, it has been a reliable machine.
Does the 900s have the same annoying issues?
Any major issues with the 900s?

Is the machines built "nicer" now, vs the 800’s? Meaning more refined.

I almost had myself talked into a Maverick, but I just don’t think I could deal with the in cab noise and heat. But I do like how "refined" they are.

BTW, we will be getting a 4 seater, but not much going on in the 900 4 forum yet.
Midwest trail riding. No hardcore mud or sand dunes. In fact, I’ve only used 4wd a handful of times.
Thanks for any advice!

2014 sportsman 800

Just recently bought first RZR

Hi, we just bought our first RZR!
I Scored on a 2013 LE .
I owned a VW sand rail for 40 something years, then bought an ATV for my ole lady and a dirt bike for myself. Sold the ATV last year and bought a Teryx. After riding the Teryx a few times I knew it wasnt want I wanted, so I sold it and found a RZR ! And I love it !
A couple Questions I have; It needs new tires, still has the stock tires on it, I was told I could go one size bigger Im assuming to a 26in.? I still want to be able to run it on the 50in. trails.
Also I would like to get some more storage bags for it , thinking of the roof bag , the bag that fits in the bed of the razor. Maybe someone could give me some input on whitch ones they like or disliked.
Thank you !!!

2014 850 fast!

Hey I just bought a 2014 Scrambler 850 XP and it is super fast compare to my 570 witch has clutch kit installed. My 570 takes off faster but then get’s left in the dust by my scrambler. The 570 is also a beast to climb sand dunes but does not come close to the 850 power.
