Was riding my 96 sportsman I just purchased and it seemed sluggish then it shut off and all 4 tires locked. When I got it home on the trailer I let it set for a while and everthing seems fine right now.
The front brake lever was hard and I couldn’t depress it once this happen.
I also thought it was running hot but haven’t confirmed that yet.
Any ideas?
So I drive the 50 miles and picked up an oil change kit at my local polaris dealer… the filter the gave me is 2520799(found out its a 2011 to 2012 xp 900 filter) and the filter that came of my 2014 1k is 2540086.
My question is would I be safe to run the filter they gave me ???

i have tried a new fuel pump it seemed to help just a little but not much at all.
Could it being out of time or the valves be outa wack to make it run bad as if it was wanting to miss or die while riding
