Like new Yamaha grizzly 700 special edition (EPS, FI) it is a beast! Tons of upgrades! Moose front and rear bumper, 14" american racing rims 26" tires. Rides great on roads, gravel, dirt, sand and mud.Warn 2500 winch. Yamaha overfenders, Oury grips, and pro star hand guards. Also I have ramps, and a LA guard dog that would come with it. Recently went through a job change and unfortunately need to sell it 🙁
I also purchased a 3 or 4 year warranty that I was told was transferable, have all the paperwork from the new purchase.
Hello everyone,I’m a new member from NW Wi,I just got a 2013 550 Grizzly Realtee. I upgraded from my 96 Kodiak that I had forever.
Right now I’m Turkey hunting with it and getting used to it,quite a change from the Kodiak. But I’m loving it so far,gonna put some more miles on her tomorrow.
:cussing::cussing:
Was changing brake pads on the 550 the other day and after I put them in I pumped the lever several times to close the calipers and bring pressure up. Well I heard a pop and have no rear brakes. Funny thing is no fluid leak. Is this probably a caliper seal or master cylinder ???
Any input from those that have experienced similar is greatly appreciated
Thanx:gcrules:
Just got my 1st rzr last weekend and joined the forum the following day. I’ve learned a lot from this forum and I am prepared to spend some money and have some fun. Cheers!!!

I just picked up a 2007 Sportsman 500 X2. I owned a 08 Sportsman 500 LE and a 2013 550 LE. I`ve noticed a few differences than the 08 already. Theres 4 brakes instead of 3. It has turf mode. Of course the extended wheelbase is easy to notice. It has a ADC fluid res but no switch? Please give me some more differences and opinions on this atv? I think I like it so far. I put 28x10x14 STI Black Diamonds on it and 14 inch HD4 rims with wheel spacers. Here are some pics.

Finally got the new RZR out of the garage for our first ride today!:yahoo: You still couldnt knock the smile off my face with a 2×4!!! 🙂
I have been adding new stuff and making changes since the day we got it home 8 weeks ago or so, but have not driven it more than few hundred feet or so backing in and out of garage until today.
I just wanted to get a few miles on it to get the first service done so it was just a few hour trip. Adjusted the shocks along the way. The ride was AMAZING compared to the atv’s we used to have.
I used this as a break in for the new Gates belt also took it to the dealer on the way home with a total of 70 miles on the machine. They changed fluid in front and rear diff, changed oil & filter and inspected the rest. Everything looked good. This was my idea to have it done this early, not the dealers, it’s just how I am 🙂 The next trip we will be putting on more miles as its a 3 day trip and I wanted all the fluids changed prior to this.
This is our first side x side after 2 previous atv’s and I was somewhat nervous after reading about some of the problems people have been having with their new machines. I am happy to say there were no vibrations, strange noises or anything that caused me any concern. We were both kind of worried that after spending so much money on the machine that we would not be happy with something, but we were both thrilled!
My wife and I were bummed when we got back and wished we could have gone more, but were pressed for time to drive to the dealer and the 2 hour trip home. It was not the most exciting trail system, just the closest that would allow me to get some miles on, but we still had fun.
I still have a few more things to change and add before our next trip June, but it’s getting there. I will make a separate post in a week or so with pictures of the new machine and mods.
