final gear oil change

ok guys or gals i need your help…..
trying to change final gear oil on my grizzly 550 and having a hell of a time … the drain bolt seems to be stuck on there really well i cant get it to budge.. ya think it would be ok to use a torch to heat it up or is that a bad idea … also i wanna make sure its the right bolt.. its an allen bolt right ?? and also dose anyone know the size of the filler bolt 19 is the bigest i have and its too small.. thanks for any help….

Break in maintenance/ warranty

Does anyone know if the first break in maintenance needs to be done by the dealer to keep the warranty from becoming void? They charge alot and basically do a $20 oil change.. Would I be doing wrong by them, by doing this myself?
Thanks in advance

WTB Shocks or Springs

I have an 08 800, looking for a set of 4 shocks or springs. Don’t need anything fancy….the original stockers are a bit saggy/weak and I rub a lot of stuff on the trails that I shouldn’t. If anyone has a good set at a fair price I’d be interested.

Rzr Eps

What’s the best eps (power steering ) setup for our rzr’s? I’m not talking price wise. I don’t mind spending the money on a better kit, I just want it to perform like expected! I have a buddy with the super atv one and it leaves some to be desired compared to the factory power steering setup. Also where is the best deal?

Holz Racing Debuts New Car at Silver State 300

Impressive Performance Despite Minor Issues

LYNDEN, WA, May 11 – The Canidae Tap It Silver State 300 was the proving ground for the all new #1964 Holz Racing desert machine. This race course cuts through the Nevada desert and has gone from smooth and fast to a harsh, dusty battleground. Far from a walk in the park for even the most seasoned race vehicles, the bar was set high for the father and son team of Mark and Ryan Holz.

Holz Racing Products built this new machine to compete but every race fan knows that "new blues" are always a concern when debuting a car in a race environment. Luckily the team was able to get in a day of testing to shake it down and make adjustments prior to getting out on the course. The setup was very close to the mark and the team had a good car to go up against the fastest drivers in the desert.

Mark would leave the start line in 20th position with his son Ryan, an accomplished WORCS and Short Course UTV racer, making his debut in the Desert in the Co-Driver seat. The new car looked to be more than up to the task, handling everything thrown at it with grace and speed and allowing the boys to push to the front of the pack.

The team came up on race mile 200 still running strong and BITD timing put them in first place with a 6 minute lead on second. With a class victory looking like a real possibility they pushed onward, picking their way through the dust and rocks. Unfortunately at race mile 206 the cam chain tensioner would let go, ending their day and dashing their hopes of a victorious debut.

The Holz Racing Products, Walker Evans Racing, Utendorfer Graphic Design, Polaris RZR #1964 will be prepped and ready to do battle with Ryan behind the wheel August 13-15th for the BITD General Tire "Vegas to Reno." Ryan and the rest of the Holz Racing Products team will first have to take on WORCS Rd.6 in Cedar City, Utah May 22-24. New fourtrax owner

Hey all, just purchased my first ATV. 1990 Fourtrax 300 that I will be fixing up a tad and using around the farm. Runs really good but needs a few odds and ends. If anybody can point me in the direction of blue front plastics I would appreciate it! Mine is cracked in a couple spots where the rack mounts. I’ll be trying to learn a lot here, I’m a diesel mechanic by trade and haven’t messed with powersports at all but I’m ready to learn.
