max water depth?

Hello guys I’m running a stock 2015 xp1k and
1)I’m just wondering what my max water depth is. I’m assuming I can go as deep as the intake part that’s covered by frogskinz just above the rear tires.
2)will water pass through the frogskinz if water is slashed on them while going through water?
3)do I have to worry about anything having to do with the clutch, venting/breathing.
Side note: I can’t snorkel it cause it will void warranty.
sorry if silly questions. I’m a newbie to this whole scene.
Thanks!

FREE Winch Mount for Sportsman

I bought this winch mount some time ago from KFI.

It did not fit. So I tried in vain to contact KFI. They never would return a call or email.

Meantime, I sold that ATV.

So if you want it – its yours. New, in Box. I want to be reimbursed for actual shipping cost but that’s all.

Here is the first page of instructions, which tell you what it looks like etc.

2004 Grizzly 660 won’t start, need advice

So, I have a 2004 Grizzly 660. I rode it all week last week around the farm. Started, ran, pulled fine, no problems. Thursday evening I loaded it onto my trailer to take it out riding this weekend, you know, fun riding not working. During the two hour trip Friday after work it did rain on me a bit on the way, but I didn’t think it would much matter. I ride in rain, mud, creeks and snow, my rig is snorkeled, and all of my electrical connections are greased (with di-electric). Anyways, I get ready to ride Saturday and the beast won’t start. It has never give me a problem starting, but this time it doesn’t. So, here is where I am on it. I put a new battery from my other Grizzly on it, with jumper cables, I thought it might just not be spinning over fast enough, but no, that didn’t get it to start. I drained the carb, though water might have got in it, nope didn’t work. Drained the gas tank, put more fresh gas in it, just in case there was water in the gas, then drained the carb again, still nothing. Sprayed starting fluid into the carb, nothing. Now here is where I am getting concerned, I took the plug out to check it, it is getting a spark, but the spark looks weak. It looks like a bit of a red spark, rather than the bright white/blue spark. It is gapped correctly, the wire looks to be in good shape, but they haven’t been changed since I have had it. All the dash lights are working. Then in the process of trying to start it my starter button quit working. I can still jump it out at the solenoid, but it still won’t start.

So, my question now is, Where to start? I figure it is either the coil, stator, rectifier, or cdi box. But seeing as how those are all fairly expensive parts to start swapping, I was really hoping someone on here might have some viable advise as to which one, or what else might be causing my issue? Any help would be much appreciated.

Whats the best on trail tire repair kit to have?

This will be my first year hitting the trails and seen these tire repair kits. Seen one by kolpin "I think" and it was a tube, that held your tire plugs and tools, then that took turned into a pump to fill your tire by hand. Thought that was pretty cool!

I did some more searching and seen other kits that came with Co2 cartridges that go into a hand pump,to give you that personal air compressor feel,This seems easier.

I guess anything would work,I kinda like the idea of the Co2 powered pump, but how many of those would you need to fill up a standard atv tire? I just think if you have a mishap and spray the co2 all over or have a problem sealing the bead of the tire to hold air you might be better off with just a hand pump?

But I figure I would throw out this question to people that have actually used one of these kits and let me know what you recommend before I order something,Thanks!
