Scrambler 400 Brakes Weird Issues

Hey Guys, 1st post here.

So i have a scrambler 400, 96 i think.

when i got it , brakes didn’t work very well.
Did some work on the engine and fixed it up , now brakes dont work at all.

Rear foot brake never worked.

Replaced master cylinder, And tried to bleed the system and kept filling reservoir, seemed really hard to bleed it as has a bleeding bolt , not a nipple.

i pump front master cyl but wont pressurize. To test system i took off all bleed bolts and put air compressor down master cyl line to make sure no blockage, and the brakes seemed to come on.

put brake fluid back down it and tried to bleed again and all that, but still no pressure . when i pump brake lever the brake fluid squirts out top from hole at bottom of master cyl reservoir…. its seems strange….

CV Boots

Newbie question.

While in the process of installing the OEM snorkel kit and doing general maintenance on my 2013 Outlander 650 Max XT I noticed Front R boot appears to have slipped a bit compared to the L as I can see a groove on the R whereas L side doesn’t show the groove. But then when I checked the rear both L and R show a groove on each.

Are these good to go or do I need to adjust it/them? If the latter then can I just adjust and reapply the clip or do I need to take the whole thing apart?

98 Honda fourtrax Es gear problem

Hi all, I recently bought a 98 fourtrax the elec gear was plying up when I got it and the foot one was sort of jamming, my father has pulled the cover off to see if anything is damaged and could not see anything other than the small gears on the change motor gummed up, it is now back together and seems like the foot shifter is working but now the display is different to the gear your in saying 5th when your in neutral so no lights will come on to start it any ideas why its now out of sync and help would be great,

Sportsman problem

I just purchased a 2004 sportsman 400. When I got it home and took it off the trailer I was riding to the garage and the wheel pulled really hard to the right. It was virtually impossible to hold it straight. I backed up a short distance and pulled forward 2 more times and same thing. I backed up about 40 ft and the problem stopped. And didn’t repeat. I called the guy I bought it from and he said it always does that when it’s cold but always stops after it warms up. I took to Polaris dealer and they said there was nothing wrong with it, it’s a common issue with that model. Anyone else experience this problem or know the cure. I just can’t believe the dealer saying that it’s just a quirk of that unit. There surely has to b a problem. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Front End

I bought a 2015 sportsman that looks like it took a hit hard enough to break the grill and bend the support. I think it may have rolled because the handle bar was bent but no scuffs on the body graphics. looking at the suspension I’m pretty confident its straight but had to replace both axles on the driver side. Both were clicking really bad. Anyway I getting to the end of the assessment of what needs to be replaced and it seems like the passenger side is weaker then the driver side. Could springs and struts be bad?

Also how would you straightening the support out? Left side is for sure bent in. The support looks like it can be unbolted from the frame.
