Plow mount part # help

I have a 2012 sportsman 800 EFI. Bought new in Alabama. Just moved to upstate New York and a buddy gave me a glacier 2 plow. Everything but the mount that bolts to the atv. Multiple vendors have told me multiple part numbers. Does anyone know the actual part # for the plow mount that will fit my 800 EFI. Thanks for the help in advance.

2005 JD trail buck fuel line grommet

Had the lower fuel line grommet rot away and all my fuel drain out. I have been able to remove line and filters and aquired a new grommet. My question is what is the easiest way to get that lower grommet and then plastic fitting all put back into the tank. I have the side panels, top tank cover and inner fenders all off. The lower tank fits so close to the engine I have a hard time getting my hand in there. Any good suggestions? Don’t really want to remove the tank. Thanks

Spacers 2″ vs

I’d like to add spacers for performance reasons.
The wider stance, the added stability and handling improvements…

My bike is a 2016 Outlander 850 XMR on stock tires and wheels. 30x9x14

Are 2 inch spacers on all 4 wheels going to add too much stress on the other parts on the bike?

I don’t think 1" will be enough to make it worth it, but what about 1.5"? i still prefer the 2" unless someone can talk me out of it. Is this a known axel snapper? From what I gather it’s really not that stressful to the machine.

All that being said I have never used any spacers whatsoever, which i why i am asking for opinions and facts

EHS Controller on Start-up Question

Installed the EHS fuel controller on the grizz and had a question. When I first start the engine the green lights do their scrolling then 4 of the lights turn red/yellow for about 3-4 seconds then turn to 3 greens then 2 greens. I wanted to know if its normal for the 3-4 seconds of red/yellows? And when I rev it from idle it sometimes goes to red/yellows before it goes back to green, is this also normal?

Thanks in advance!

New Outlander 850 XMR!

Hello all! My first post here.

I just took my knew 2016 Outlander XMR 850 out for its first real trail ride at an ATV park. I’ve had my Outlander since October, so I was thrilled to actually get out and hit some real trails. Some people had me worried that the XMR isn’t a good trail bike. Well i completely disagree with that notion. It is a very good trail bike in my oppinion, even with the stock 30" Silverbacks.

So that being said what are some upgrades that I should be looking into, to get the most out of this bike? Even though the XMR is suppose to be pure mud bike, I fully intend to keep hitting trails (and mud from time to time)

I’m not interested in thousands of dollars worth of mods, just a few basic things to keep performance stout. Like a water proof Air filter Lid for starters, even though I only use the snorkel for extra protection against swamping the bike, I have zero intentions of playing submarine with the quad. It will spend more time on trails than in pure water/mud. I do love muddy trails though, and I will go out of my way to find a nice mud hole if its a challenge from time to time.

So in short.

1. Whats the best Air box lid, that is 100% sealed? For the record my stock lid hasn’t had any leaks whatsoever, but I’d like to make sure it stays that way.

2. Any cost friendly clutch mods, like different springs worth looking into?

3. Are any of the slip on exhaust worth it? Do they offer anything other than a different sound?

4. Looking into having a main set of trail tires, as i know the Silverbacks will wear out quickly, while being used outside of the mud.
I’d like a radial, that still does good in mud, like maybe the Pitbull Growlers, but I’m not interested in their price nor the amount they weigh. I like the idea of the Maxxis Zillas, as a lightweight option that still offers some mud capabilities and they are wallet friendly.

I’ve ran Maxxis Mud Bugs on past quads, and I really liked them, but they are getting difficult to find and i don’t think they make it in a 30" tire? Ive spent time on the original Mud Lites and they have never impressed me, but its been years since I’ve given them a try but if I remember correctly they just seem like an overpriced stock tire IMO. Though I’d like to try the Mud Lite XTRs, but they do not come in a 30" tire either. I like the old 589’s, but again i don’t know if they come in a 30".

Most trails around here are either sandy, or hard pack with clayish mud holes here and there.

Newbie

Hi, my name is Sergio. I am currently head of maintenance at a campground in Illinois. Myself and my children love to ride atvs. I currently aquired a 2004 traxter 500 xt. I just repaired the mpem but am having problems with the dash flashing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
