Any members near Pittsburgh, PA with a 450?

I’m looking for someone with a 450 near the Pittsburgh area willing to help me out.

I have a ’07 450 with some issues that I can’t diagnose.

I would like to install my carb on your machine and see if the problem follows. That would be an instant step in the right direction.

I’ve already cleaned and checked the carb 5+ times, and checked the stator, pick up coil. I also changed the plug cap, plug, ignition coil and CDI.

If anyone is willing to help a member out give me a call @ 72FOUR.49SIX.042ZER0. Or send me an email. edbakerATwirelessservicesinc.com.

Thanks,
Mike

Changed Belt for first time stripped clutch shaft and some minor play?

2002 grizz 7000km

Hey guys… so after googling it I see its a common mistake to strip the shaft of the clutch, I thought I was the only idiot!

Anyways what is my best option just die the end of the shaft and continue on? I think i need a new piece on the inside of the primarty clutch with the teeth on it as well.

Now i also notices some play in the shaft of primary clutch, its moves up and down and left and right but barely any play at all. Should i just replace the shaft? or is that play normal? thanks guys appreciate it.!

rear strut 94 6×6

OK, I know, I’m not the only one in the world, that has an old 6×6, with a blown strut. And I know, I’m not the only one that has found said strut, is made of unobtainium, after Polaris went all Kawasaki on us, and discontinued a lot of older model parts, in the past year… (I am an INDY wedge guy, the struggle is getting real) That said, before I go searching, looking, measuring, welding, and cutting, has anyone figured out what to replace that strut with? Like, a coil over shock? I’m not skeered, just being’ lazy, hoping someone else has it all figured out.

So, not sure what I was thinking….

But my vast collection of atv, atc, and snogo’s, has ended up including to polaris ATV’s…. A 94 6x, and a early 90’s late 80’s 250 2x. So……. Yeah….. I’ve been playing with polaris too. So, I’m here because of my addiction. I’m here because I admit I have an addiction, and have no desire to do anything about it…… I’m here, to see if there is anyone that likes the old stuff. That’s all.

words of encouragement!

Hey everyone. I am a proud owner of a ’15 1000xt. Unfortunately I dont get out these days nearly as much as I would like. However when I do get out there seems to be a couple small things that are tough to ignore. Squeaky steering, inaccurate gas gauge and the constant worry of high or low gear and when is it important to use each gear. I previously owned an ’07 grizz 700. Aside from a couple basic fixes over 7 years and nearly 7000km, there was never an issue when out riding. The clutching was great, high gear almost all the time, no squeaky steering and.gas gauge was true. I love my can am but would love some.words of encouragement. Tough.to spend that money have such little silly things always on your mind instead of enjoying the ride. Lets hear your thoughts and experiences with said issues.
