16 1000 flat sport in power delivery

I was just curious as I finally was able to put some time on my 1k XMR outty and I am noticing a flat spot around 4k RPM when slowly rolling on the throttle, Has anyone noticed this? is this normal? or is it something that will smooth out as it breaks in?

Machine have 4 miles on it and like an hour on it 🙂 been taking it easy to break. I might be the only one that has been "easy" on the throttle with 89hp on tap :aniwheeler6::th_smiliedance:

400ex head repair

Got an extra head for 50 bucks valves seems to b great guy had 2 motors with bad bottoms problem is 2 valves cove bolts were swapped wen he got it supposedly an they were tightened to the point where ther went through side of the head can anyone tell me what to do about that plans are send the head off for a port an polish but first thing is fix this issue its just far enough to see the bolt sticking out

I need an info. I would to change mine camshaft from mine renegade 500, so I have found more cameshaft to buy.
The info that I would is : Can I install the new camshaft with 3 bolts in my 2009?
I have just found a pair of camshaft from a 650 g2 machine…

Hi, can anyone help me or advise me? I have a 2013 850 scrambler and I’m having a few drive shaft problems on the front only.
I have put a full set of outlaw tires on this machine and they are bigger than the stock tires.the rear are 28x12x14 and the front are 28x9x14.
The bike has covered 400 miles and this is the second one that has snapped clean in half.
i would upgrade the dive shafts but i can’t find no replacments?

throttle cable trx 200

Can the throttle cable on an 86 trx 200sx with the stock cable pressed into the carb cap be replaced without replacing the carb cap? I would like to change the carb and use the stock cable if possible.I don’t want to ruin the old carb cap if at all possible.Thanks,Larry

Hello all.
So I was out on my 2016 Outlander L 570 for the second big ride. I got it stuck in the first ride in some really deep snow, and all 4 wheels spun.
Today I got crossed up in some ruts, and the front right wheel was about 8" off the ground, and almost without hesitation, the front left was tearing a hole in the dirt. Perfect! I like the fact it’s always there and ready when the hole or ruts are deeper than expected. About half an hour later, I was climbing a sand hill with a right hand turn at the top and the bottom, and it was steeper than expected, nail the throttle and at both obstacles, front end locked fast and away we went. I can say with my Grizzly, it would have been a back out into the deep water, lock the front (which wasn’t always instant), and fight with the locked front end and then unlock at the top. Not the end of the world, but damn I like this Can-Am way better.

A note on handling, the back end sure steps out smoothly and consistently all the time. The engine is awesome as well, smooth and sounds awesome. So happy I ditched the Yamahaha.
