Hey so I’ve got a 2003 Honda fourtrax 250 that will not stop fouling plugs. I’ve put a new carb kit in and have replaced the fuel filter, clean air filter. I can get it to idle but as soon as I drive it will just die. Could it be something electrical? Coil possibly? Please help!!
I thought it may be helpful to start a thread with can am dealers we have had good experiences with. A good place to start for pricing or buying a wheeler.
I will start. MN. Trueman welters inc. 763-682-2200. Excellent service and very helpful. Very Eager to make it a good experience. Called and verified they had a wheeler in stock and they pulled it off the floor and had it ready to go when I got there in 1 hour. No $$ down very good price on mine to boot. $6100 no delivery no setup 2016 outlander L570. Base model.
So my 1987 TRX350 smokes like a freight train and i noticed it only does it when its hot, so i was wondering if the muffler could have a buildup of oil residue that could cause it to smoke, since it smoked when we bought it, and had smoked for years before that the owner said, it dont smoke running it straight from the header pipe, so this is what leads me to believe its oil residue burning off.
Looking for feedback from people that have run 22" rear sport, flat profile tires on 85/86 ATC250Rs. Feedback from actual riding experience on this machine is desired, not opinion. All I have ever run are the stock 20" size. I know going larger will affect handling and stability, but I wanted to know if the gained ground clearance is worth the trade off. Thanks.
I recently picked up 2 570 tourings. I had a few questions. one was there are n running lights on the back of either. I am assuming the are supposed to be on all the time while riding then brake lights come on, correct? also I am thinking of taking off the back seatrest on one and jut riding it as a single. I am ok with the seat but if you take away the whole bracket for the rear then you have no grommet holes for the main seat to hook into. has anyone come up with a good latch system for the main seat to stay down or on better? maybe a latch on the back part of the seat. also are there any better latches for the front plastic storage? seems like they don’t stay latched all that well. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks!!
