Only runs good without air filter and the small offset pipe that goes from air box to carb. If I hook up even the offset pipe to the carb it won’t let the motor rev up. Its like its starving for air.???????????? Thanx for any suggestions

2003 660 brake woes.
Okay this one has me stumped. I spent a couple of weekends preparing the grizzly for a big event we have at our local river riding spot. Long story short I did brakes, fluids, belt, oil change etc.
I ended up damaging a cv shaft that was probably long overdue for replacement. When my friend and I tore it down to replace it last night I was shocked to see the brake pads on both sets of front wheels wore to the backing plate.
I’ve ridden less than 100 miles since the install. Both pads are worn evenly, calipers were clean and appear to be operating normally.
My question. Are there any adjustments on the caliper that I overlooked? I would think the caliper would "float" to an extent like an automobile setup, but I’m not 100% sure how it operates. I see a screw under the rubber plug and someone had it bottomed out.
Can anyone give me some advice, I highly doubt I have two calipers sticking.
black windshield
I have a 2014 grizzly that’s flat black and I am looking for a black windshield/fairing for it that has the storage in the center. Does anyone know what the part number would be for the Yamaha one? I like the one with the mirrors and the storage but the ones I found online are all the painted ones in red and blue but I need a flat black one to match the bike. Thanks!
Uncle Papa, This Ride is for you!
Daddy it is 7:51 am, we are about 15 miles from Fairchild, Wisconsin, going to ride the Buffalo River State Trail from Fairchild to Mondovi, nothing but smooth as a newborns hind end railroad bed, 37 miles one way.* We do not anticipate any mud puddles, treacherous rock formations,* no sand to work its way into the grease fittings and no hills to navigate and best of all, no 30 mph speed limit. This should be as smooth as I94, with a beer or two to quinch our thirst and some food to keep the belly burning,* I know in your heart you wish you were riding with us but with all of your kids foolish activities, you CAN’T lol, lol, lol, lol, lol, lol. Pictures will follow…
1988 fourtrax trx300 ouestion
I Just bought it and it looks like a new atv. I don’t know the history of it so all I can tell you is my experience with it. It cranks right up but wouldn’t rev up. After trying several things including adjusting the valves. I felt like it was starving for air so I pulled the air filter off and it started to slightly rev up. So then I removed the small offset plastic pipe going from the carb to the airbox and it almost runs like it is supposed to. You can actually see mist of gas spitting back out of carb when I rev it up. Its not back firing thru carb or exhaust. THIS IS DRIVING ME CRAZY I KNOW I SHOULDN’T RUN IT WITHOUT AN AIR FILTER BUT THATS THE ONLY WAY I CAN RIDE IT. THANX FOR ANY HELP ?????????

Speaker mounts
Anyone know of a good clamp or idea for mounting speaker tubes to the xmr rack? I built my tubes just trying to mount them and the u-bolts I bought were too short and can’t find any long enough. I don’t want to use zip ties or hose clamps as I want to keep it off the plastics.
PCV map for low and high range
Just wondering, does anyone run a different map for low and high range with their PCV? Just wondering if anyone found it helpful for using low in mud and then when trail riding in high switch to a more fuel efficient map?
Thank,
Todd
