as the title says I just picked it up. Comes pretty loaded but I added a couple things like the complete audio system led bar full front brush guard ram mount dash net interior light. I have a Polaris ranger 900 camo full cab so I’m excited to compare the two. Will keep everyone posted as I know there isn’t much information out there on these machines.
I’m 6’7" so I also did a seat mod to get some additional leg room.
On my 1996 350 4×4 the rear main seal is leaking. I read that may just be the rear yoke bolt being loose. Hopefully that is it. I am wondering though does the oil from the seal area come from the engine oil or is there a separate oil supply for the transfer case? As I look at it it appears it would be the engine oil so I better take care of this soon so the engine oil doesn’t get low enough to seize.
I just got a 96 Big Bear 350 4×4. I’ve had a Honda Fourtrax 300 4×4 for 5 years. The big bear seems pretty similar in function but a little different in component layout. I’ve also have a Yamaha XT225 dirt bike so I’m somewhat familiar with the 350s engine design.

my 400ex has 18in tires on the rear, and 22in front tires, which one is different from stock. The front looks weird because there much bigger than the rears.

Anyway, does anyone use a dash cam? I got one at Costco made by Cobra. It records a four hour loop. I figure it’s cheap insurance ($85) against some scumbag who might swerve into me from the side or on coming and then claim it was my fault. I actually had that happen once with very minor damage.

Looking to touch up my rear bumper on my Outlander Max. It is the octane blue color. I rubbed off quite a bit of paint, a spray can would probably be best. Anybody know the paint code or where a list could be found? Thanks.
Hey everyone trying in my renegade after the long weekend, I have some questions, I know the cvt exhaust is still in the silly place were it gets water in it at water depths above the tires, thinking about havering them out the canam snorkel package on, they will give me a discount for it so will be a little cheaper. Wounduring how that snorkel can am makes, I’m not the guy going through seat deep water but want to be able to hit a mud hole on the trail without belt getting washed down lol. Thanks in advance are they worth it? I think it looks like a cleaner install vs afftermart ones with three pipes sticking through my brand new plastics..
They will give me $7500 for my renegade and the new one is 12300 before taxes so payments are going to be about $50 bi weekly! So no brainer plus I hunt and fish a lot and want my racks back!!
Ok so my 250 has been running ok for a while, though it was becoming harder to start and never really idled that well once hot. So recently I installed a carb kit and cleaned out the carb. Since doing that I went away and the bike didn’t get started for 5 weeks.
Now I can’t get it started at all. It cranks and cranks but doesn’t fire up. I’ve checked the spark plug and it seems ok. I’ve dumped the old fuel, cleaned the tank and tried fresh fuel. I’ve got a new spark plug on the way to be sure.
Strangely it seems to spit fuel out the back of the carb when cranking. It comes out from the little brass coloured tubes at the back. Would this indicate problems with the float/float valve? The valve was new but float wasn’t. And could this cause a no start situation?
