I purchased a 2015 Touring 570 new about 3 months ago. A couple weeks ago while riding down a dirt trail the front left wheel basically came off. I was going about 30mph but luckily was able to come to a stop without incident. I took it to the dealer a week and a half ago and have finally heard back from them that they aren’t ordering parts until Polaris approves the claim – they think that it will be denied because "ball joints don’t just come apart". I didn’t hit anything, it only has 230 miles on it and 200 of those miles are dirt roads not even rough trails. I am uploading three pictures, one of them shows the trail leading to where the ATV came to rest, I took this picture on the advice of the people I was riding with to show that I didn’t hit anything.
Any advice for how to deal with Polaris if they deny this? I honestly feel like they should be saying sorry that came apart, glad you weren’t injured…instead of what did you do to break it?
Hello I own 2 scrambler 500’s an 01 & 04 ho ,the 01 has eletrical issues but everything else is in great shape. The 04 has been wrecked and she’s smoking now. I was going to try and rob all the eletrical of the 04 and place it on the 01, but the flywheel and stator are a quater inch smaller ID . Theyboth mount the same and the OD is the same. My biggest question is – Are the flywheels balanced to a particular engine or are they interchangeable ? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have a 2002 Scrambler that the rear Fox mono shock needs rebuild. There is no dampening whatsoever. Anyone have a good fair honest place to get the work done. Any ideas what to expect to pay?
I put a deposit down on a new defender XT. Hoping to pick it up this weekend.
Ordered a hd8 XT in metallic silver. Windshield with wiper, rear glass panel, doors, and a snowplow.
I live in the mountains of northwest Wyoming next to Yellowstone. Hopefully more people with defenders can share their experiences. When I was researching defenders there was very little info from actually owners.

I had some bad luck. I had an accident pulling the quad on the trailer. Sad to say the quad is totaled, but I am looking to rebuild it all. I’m in need of everything from frame, hubs, axles, shocks, brake lever, plastics, racks… I need a lot lol so if anyone has any for sale please feel free and post what you have for sale.
I am not even sure what the two front brake drums/panels? look like inside. Right now I only have back breaks and for what I do with it it is good enough. But if my front drums look OK once I finally check them out I am wondering if this master is rebuildable. It’s a touch pitted and scored inside but I believe it’s doable. Like I said it wont be getting any major use but it’s nice to have good brakes all around.
If stuff checks out I will rebuild.
Just wondering how uncruded you folks have made stuff.

I purchased a stem mount before they updated their website to reflect the fact they do not fit the 2015 EPS Grizzly. Well, I just received an email from OMI saying that would fully refund the cost and shipping of the product and don’t worry about sending the product back… Is this GREAT service or what? Wow, thank you OMI!
I sure hope they develop a stem mount for the newer power steering Grizzly’s as, I believe, that this is a good product, better than OEM. :getrdone:
Below is the OEM steering stem mount with 0 km’s on the Grizzly, you can obviously see the lack of grease, I will be adding a grease nipple while it’s apart…
