I bought this a couple weeks ago and have barely ridden it. I went out the other day to fire it up and it wouldnt turn over. yes the off/run/off switch was in the run position. Almost seemed like the battery was low or the starter sol was stuck. I got it to start when i turned the key quick like three times, then it fired. I gave it a couple days to see if it was going to happen again and yesterday it somewhat did. i called the dealer this am and told him of the issue. he acted like it was no problem and to bring it in so they could re flash the quad. Stinks cuz the quad is already brand new and there are already issues nd not too mention there is only a 6mth warranty on it. they offer the extended warranty on it but was unsure if it is worth the money. but if i have issues like this all the time i dont want to have to pay for the repairs.

Installed and retrofitted the CanAm footpegs
Installed the CanAm footpegs onto the scrambler today.
Super easy to do, drill two holes per side. They come with only nuts, no bolts. Picked up 4 from home depot per side and washers.

Exhaust system
Anyone have any ideas of a new exhaust system i should get for my 06 polaris sportsman 800. It has dual stack exhaust. Would the big gun evo utility fit on my 4wheeler?
ES Problem 2001 350
I have an issue with shifting that was caused by an accident. My son ran into a barb wire fence and a strand of wire unfortunately went between the instrument pod and the top plastic. Broke the covering over the wire harness coming from the handle bar switch and frayed some of the wires (didn’t cut completely through them). Anyway have been trying to solve issue with shifting since the accident. Have replaced the switch and harness, angle sensor, and checked voltage and resistance in places. Everything on the switch works except the shifting, hoping not the ECU but it is looking that way. Any suggestions or shared knowledge would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

New Forum Category “The Mud Pit”
I was browsing around on the Can Am forum and saw they had a category dedicated soley to people who go "mudding" this is very big in the south but I I see mostly trail riding, dunes rocks etc on here. It would be nice to see something dedicated to mud tires, mud clutches etc etc. Just a thought!
2013 Commander 4wd display coming on with throttle
I have a 2013 Commander 1000 XT. I have an issue that just started the other day. When im in high gear and hit the throttle the 4wd icon will show up on my display. If i back out of the throttle then it goes away or if i stay in it like on up above 40 or 50 mph it stays on the whole time. When in low gear i dont have this issue?? What could be going on here
Grease zerk help for newbie.
Hello! I recently bought a 07 Sportsman 450 and am in the process of a complete recondition and maintenance. Of course once oil and filter is changed I head for the grease gun and find that my normal gun will not work. Looks like the Sportsman zerks are smaller than normal automotive so will not take grease. Am I nuts and if not what size zerk tip do I need for my grease gun for my Sportsman? Thank you for the info, this forum has been a big help in this project.
Zilla toughness
So i have looked at the Zillas now for a bit and read reviews and posts. I’m thinking on changing out tires to ones that can handle the Oklahoma clay mud a little better than the Artrax tires I have on there now. The Artrax have done well in everything else I put them in but can ball up in sticky mud, which is to be expected. My concern with the Zillas is that they are way lighter than every 6 ply tire I have looked at which concerns me. I do ride trails with jagged rocks and roots and down on the river, and who knows what’s under the water. My thought is it is either that the plys are thinner or they are making the sidewalls way thinner to save the weight. I’ve heard complaints of people not liking how they tend to roll in cornering at higher speeds. I take this as thinner sidewalls. I don’t want to get these tires and the terrain here end up chewing them up. We are also looking to get out to Arkansas and SE Oklahoma to do some riding there as well. Right now we ride on the Canadian river (sand and mud), Cross Bar Ranch (lots of rocks) and Hynretta (rocks and roots) out in Eastern OK just for an idea of the types of riding.
Few others I’ve had my eye on as well if I do switch. Won’t do Bighorns or any variation, since it’s not much difference in the type of tire I run now.
