After adjusting the idle mixture screw to keep it running on a cool morning ride, I apparently went too far and it vibrated out. I didn’t lose it, but finding it impossible to put back in. There are 2 places it could possibly go and both touch the throttle cable somehow because I can feel it as I crack it open a bit when putting the screw in. However it will not bit and stay in when the spring is still on. So anyone have this issue? I searched but didn’t find anything, or didn’t search for it correctly. This should be so simple and feel like an idiot for not being able to put this back.
Screw threads look good, but won’t bite. Or was there a sleeve that may have fallen out too? didn’t see on in the carb diagrams but who knows with polaris 🙂

So our trails here just opened yesterday. Went out for the first time on my 26" Evo’s. I had them set at 7lbs. I noticed they wander on the hard pack roads I was running. I mean my grizz was side to side on the trail. I was like WTF here. Checked tire pressure and they were still at 7lbs. Also I noticed that if I hit rocks at any kind of speed, I could feel the rock hitting the center part of the rim, like the tire had squashed down. I never had these issues on the stock tires. Anyone else notice this on these tire?
Hey guys, looking for some help with a new 2016 Grizzly 700 Build! Will be my first Grizzly, so not all that familiar with them.
Uses:
– Primarily around the house/property
– Grading driveway gravel
– Plowing snow
– Chainsaw/tree work, maybe dragging out some tree sections for firewood cutting
– Recreational riding (lots of dead wood, fallen trees, etc)
– Hunting use (normal stuff)
Thinking along the lines of accessories:
– Winch (must have)
– Plow
– Skid plates (given the dead woods, stumps, fallen trees that might be a puncture problem)
– A-arm skids
– Brush guard (protect the front/lights/etc)
– Upgraded wheels/tires (ideally to get a little more clearance/lift).
What would you guys recommend? I know a lot can be taste based, but just want to make sure I’m getting quality accessories and avoiding the crap. I’m working with a dealer now on a quote for some stuff, but want to vet his recommendations as well and make sure his "deal" isn’t a bunch of parts that are overly priced or poor quality. I’m sure they’d stand by it with their warranty (maybe?), but I’d rather avoid the issue of sub-optimal parts and just do it right the fire time.
What say you? Anyone want to help with a new build? :rocker:
Wheel wise, I know these are pretty popular and I like the Black ITB SS.
I picked up an 86 TRX 200SX from a friend for $350 this past month. Runs fantastic, so no motor worries. Talk about a fun toy, it’s my first!!
So far I’ve gotten her a new air cleaner element, a new pull handle, changed the oil (whoa, was that overdue)-cleaned the engine, etc. etc.
Most of what I’ll be looking for…are body parts. And wow, I’ve found out that those are super hard to find…. :frown:
I’d like to do some sort of an upgrade to the tail light since I cannot find the hardware to fix the original one. What have you done? I’d love some ideas, I really don’t know where to start.

I know theres parks everywhere in the US but what parks have better mud holes than others? I like Busco Beach in NC. Ive watched that show "fishers atv world" before and it seems like the only thing he likes to do is cruise on a well groomed trail…seems pretty boring if you ask me.

I am currently in the market for a helmet communication systems for our riding group. I would like something that has Bluetooth capability so I can listen to music and take calls while I ride but still be able to communicate with other riders through the same device. I would like to get something where 4 riders minimum would be able to communicate with each other. Having the ability to add more would be a bonus. I did a search here but haven’t found anything recent and it appears that a ton of new products have been released since. The range has me concerned with some of them as it states they have a 2 mile open range. I am curious as to what I can expect the range to be in the woods? I see some guys saying that those that have 2 mile open range still have about 1 mile in the woods which doesn’t seem realistic but if it is, it would be just enough for our group. I wouldn’t want anything with less than a realistic 1 mile range in the woods. Bluetooth and wireless is a must. I have used hand held wired units years ago and they are a pain in the ass when it comes to removing your helmet as 9 times out of 10, everyone forgets about the wires, myself included. :irked:
What is everyone using these days?? How is the battery life, range, sound clarity, etc. on the units you are using? Thanks in advance for any feedback.
