2002 Sportsman 500 HO, starts then dies

So my Sportsman was running great, then I parked it where I stopped to get off to talk to someone. It started right up but then died. Now when I try to start it, it did back fire 2 different times, and also will just barely fire. If it sits for a little while it will start and run for about 15 seconds then die and won’t start for a while.

When I checked spark it was wonky so I put a new plug in it.

Mounting light bar on xmr

I have a 2016 renegade xmr and I’m curious how people are mounting light bars on them. I have a gorilla axle 14" light bar and was planning on mounting it on a rad relocate but won’t be buying that this year. Has anyone bought brackets to mount them?

2009 Can Am 800R

I am having issues with my 2009. The shift indicator always shows it in H L or E. Even though I can shift through the pattern and put in neutral and roll it around I can not get it to start as it shows that It is still in H or L. Any thoughts.

Rear Fenders on 1984 TRX200…repair idea

Hello all…my poor old Honda has been sitting on the back burner, and now it is time to get cracking on it again. The rear fenders on this thing are pretty rough. On the left side the fender is cracked completely across the top. I have patched it up with sheet metal and pop rivets, but on the right side, the lower half of the fender is completely missing. It makes for quite the pain…not only am I constantly worried about my foot slipping off the peg and getting sucked into the tire, but also I am tired of the back of my leg getting plastered with mud and such when I ride. So after much heartfelt consideration, I have concocted a scheme for fender repair and wanted some opinions on it.
I am thinking about buying a trailer fender, something like this one from northern tool, CE Smith Jeep-Style Fender with Aluminum Tread — 23 3/4in. Long | Single Aluminum Tread Trailer Fenders| Northern Tool + Equipment. My idea is to cut it in half and use the halves to make new fender fronts.
I have to double check the measurements, but I think I can just slip that up under what is left of the rear fender and attach it. I am sure I will have to do some additional bracing, but I am also thinking it may be long enough that I can tie onto the bottom of it and make something of a basket between it and the peg for my feet. I couldn’t find anything where anyone had done something like this, and maybe there is a reason for it, not sure yet. But for $25 I am thinking it may be worth the gamble to try it.

95 Fourtrax 300 4×4 into 2×4 rebuild

Hopefully you guys can help me along the way, so that I don’t have TOO much $$ in this thing by the time it’s finished.
I’ll add pics of what I have so far when I get off work.
Starting with an abused ’95 4×4 frame with an ’88 engine that had a bent valve.

Got frame torn down (except for swingarm, today after work I’ll get that off) and steam cleaned. Actually under all that mud the factory powdercoating don’t look bad at all, but I’ll touch up the bare rusty spots with some primer and black paint.
Picked up some 2×4 front a-arms, knuckles, and what was left of some front brakes. Also picked up another engine bottom half to get the 2wd drive/drive cover out of. That engine also had a Wiseco hi-comp piston on it, but I’m not going to use it..i think.
Top half of engine is torn down, std bore which looks good, piston has seen better days though. Will get a new top half, might go ahead and bore it, don’t know yet.
Rear diff was SHOT, but cases seem good. Got to rebuild it..
A-arms will need new ball joints. EVERY bearing is shot, of course, throughout the chassis.
First to be re-built will be the rear diff. I got some used gears that are in ok shape, got to get cases cleaned up and old bearings taken out.
Where’s the best place to get bearings and such? Any brands to stay away from?
