I’m looking for an entry level ATV for myself. I’m 6’3" weigh around 240lbs (I know chubby, working on it.. I am a weight lifter and dont mind a workout.
I have looked around, and bang for the buck the rancher 420 seems to fill the bill.. not to mention it’s a honda to which I am partial to have all honda power equipment, push mower/tractor H2013. and I’ve seen the replacement parts are decently priced and available. Just wondering if you are satisifed with the power, and performance on the rancher? any "mandatory upgrades other than tires (mud tires)? is the big bore kit a worthwhile purchase ($400)? definitly wondering about the options of getting a ESP, or manual trans. and is the EPS worth the added cost (extra stuff to break?)

This 4 wheeler sit up for about 5 years. I had an atv mechanic put a brand new carb on it for me. The float sticks and it pours gas constantly. Is there someone on here that suggest a place for me to buy the appropriate carb so I can get this thing running again?

Just picked up an 08 outlaw 90 for my son. The thing is spotless and the lady I bought from said her daughter only rode it for one summer and it has been sitting. I know her personally and it still has the tits on the rear tires. Got plenty of PS4 on the shelf but the manual says it takes Polaris youth oil? So is there any difference in viscosity between this and the big boy ps4? What does everyone run in theirs? Just don’t want something too thin in there. Also if anyone wants trade a mint set of pink plastics for a blue set let me know. Thing is as close to new as it gets and at the moment he doesn’t care that it is pink its I great upgrade from his 02 sporty. He’s only 5. The reverse gear is getting a work out. He tells me keeps backing up because he can! Thanks guys
I recentley came the the ATV world late in life and under odd circumstances. When my faithful hobby farm lifted golf cart had major engins problems, again, I decided to order a big block clone motor. This conversion was going to take time so I wanted to get something we could use in the meantime to feed, etc. Much as I wanted a UTV the prices put me off. I bought a Suzuki King Quad 300. Downside is I’m 6’4", and it’s tight for me. No big deal since the ATV was a temp. thing right. Well…my son buys a racing quad to ride with my 11 yr. old grandson, who has a Polaris 90 quad and a Yamaga dirt bike. So I learn about a local atv park and we go. There is a newish 1000 cc Can Am ATV for sale near the park office, for way too much money for me, BUT, the size was great for me. This got me interested in the bigger Can Am models. To cut to the chase, I now, as of yesterday, own a 2006 Bomardier (Can Am) 650 Outlander xt.
I just picked up a bike they said ran ruff so I cleaned the car and started it barely. After running it for a while it went puff, smoke came out intake an spark plug is smashed. Just wondering if it is worth rebuilding engine or changing engine completely. I have a 97 foreman 400 was going to fix other bike for my son. Bike is in good shape, just never tore into one that much before. Any hints or good place to find parts or engine would be appreciated.
