Rear gearcase. angle drive fluid change.

I have a Haynes service manual (1st mistake), and it appears to have omitted the rear gearcase fluid replacement section. As much as I can figure it takes 5 oz of angle drive fluid. Can anybody direct me to the drain plug and fill hole? This is the first wrenching I am going to do on an ATV and appreciate any newbie info. Thanks. m.breen.

Atv caught fire and burned!!!!!

Do you own a Powermax Atv ? Or Do you know someone who owns a Powermax ATV ?

Powermax Atv’s are now being monitored by Transport Canada for serious electrical problems, gas leaks, throttle sticking and other serious problems like these.

This was a brand new 2013 700 Powermax Atv and it had serious problems such has the throttle sticking , gas leaks and electrical problems from just 55 km to approximately 900 km. It caught fire and burned.

If there are more Powermax Atvs being used on our trails and forest it is not just the owners of Powermax Atvs that maybe in danger but you and your family could be seriously hurt or killed if there are more Powermax ATVs with these serious problems being used.

If you would like to report a Powermax Atv to Transport Canada let me know and I will help you do that for free. I have found other Powermax Customers that have serious problems with their ATV.

The main reason for me letting you know about this is safety concerns for you and your family but I also did not get any help from Powermax warranty. They said that because my Powermax ATV burned there was no way to prove what happened to it.

I have all my service records that clearly show serious problems starting with electrical problems and then the throttle falling apart and sticking and then the starter relay sticking and causing my Powermax ATV to over heat and catch fire and burn. It even caused a forest fire.

Just letting you know what to expect from Powermax Warranty also.

Powermax Atv’s are cheap knockoffs made in China and made with very low quality parts and have very little power. Mine would get easily stuck even in four wheel drive.

The main reason for me letting you know about this is safety concerns for you and your family but I also did not get any help from Powermax warranty. They said that because my Powermax ATV burned there was no way to prove what happened to it.
