I’m trying to figure out how to replace my choke cable on a 2000 polaris 325 trail boss. I have the carburator removed but I can’t get a wrench on the bolt to remove the cable. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks
I just picked up my first atv, a 2016 Polaris sportsman 850SP. I had been breaking it in on some relatively easy trails averaging 10-20mph most of the time. I went through a puddle or two but nothing too crazy. At 13 hours I noticed the plastic over the header pipe was melting and almost on fire. I removed the piece of plastic on the trail and was able to get it home fine but I did notice the exhaust was extremely hot. I have brought it back to the dealer and have been waiting to hear back about what they are going to do.
I have found some other Polaris sportsman models on this forum with this same issue but not the 2016SP.. Is this a common issue with all sportsmans? Did I make a mistake buying a sportsman? It was an extremely fun machine when I was able to use it.. But I can’t believe after 4 days of riding it does this? Does anyone have experience getting free extended warranties out of the dealer or Polaris when they have issues so early in the life of the machine? What should the dealer be doing for me to fix this issue? Heat tape and new plastic? Some people have said new fans or an entirely new exhaust?
Hey everybody! I am new to the forum and Polaris ATVs but I have been around other ATVs and dirtbikes most of my life. I just recently purchased a 2009 Sportsman 850 XP with only 250 miles and 60 hours on it and I am already looking at ways to customize it and make it my own so I thought it would be a good idea to join the forum. I look forward to learning from all of you.

Where the rear A arm bracket is part of the skid plate the steel broke, not a weld spot the forged steel. Anyone had this issue? Seems like defect in steel, what do you think?

I just got a 2012 ranger 500 efi and it will not move in 2 wheel drive only in awd. I checked the belt and cleaned the clutches. I can here a click when move the switch from 2wd to turf. Anyone have any ideas what is wrong?
