Lost key

So last Sunday I lost my key to my 2012 foreman. So after an exhaustive search I couldn’t find my spare so I got my key code off the ignition and was able to get a standard key cut for it. I ant to order a oem key blank and have it cut when I get it. Does anyone sell these besides the dealers? Any info is appreciated, thanks

Honda rancher stalls and wont start for an hour

2013 Honda rancher 420 es

It starts up normally, it will idle all day. Once i start riding, after 10-30 seconds it will start to seem like its not getting good gas flow and it stalls out. I try starting and it cranks fine but wont start. After it sits for an hour or so it will start again.

I have replaced the fuel filter. That made no difference.

Ideas?

Do I need a new battery

Probably a stupid question but I want to make sure. My rancher’s ES quit working. It was clicking under the seat and I went ahead and pulled the battery and charged it. Threw the battery back on and now it does nothing…. No clicks or anything. I just jump started the rancher with my truck using the ES and it cranked right up. That means it’s the battery correct??

2003 Sportsman 600 Twin Stator/Regulator Issue

Hi, I just acquired this and noticed the run time hour meter was not working, and no RPM indication in diagnostic mode. Started tracing wiring and found the yellow/red wire to the spedo head disconnected near voltage regulator. Shop manual shows this wire connected to the yellow/red wire from stator in the schematic.

Problem is that there are two yellow/red wires coming from the stator and connected to the regulator. My assumption is that an OEM/after market stator/regulator kit upgrade was installed on this and whoever installed it left the Tach wire disconnected.

Anyone know the correct place to connect the yellow/red tach wire? My thought would be to simply connect it in parallel with one of the two yellow/red wires from the stator to the regulator but wanted to ask first to be safe.

Thanks,

Don
