Hey guys, my name is Andrew. I used to own a 2008 rancher 420 but sold it to get my pilots license, but now thats wrapped up im looking to buy a new 2016 sportsman 450HO.
i think ive got the perfect truck to lug a new 4 wheeler around aswell.
so i upgraded the cvt cover to the 13 bolt one, cleaned up my clutches in warm soapy water and put everything back together, now my clutch is louder, and when i drive forward theres this clunk sound, when i put it in drive and give it some throttle the clunk is even louder, sound is coming from my primary, did i screw up putting the clutch back together, should i have greased something
cheers

So I’ve discovered I have to remove my brush bar and winch just to be able to change my front diff fluid (arrrrghhh….I paid popo to install my winch just so I wouldn’t have to fiddle with it lol).
Can anyone pass the Clifts notes on how to most easily pull th Polaris 3500 winch out so I can do my fluid change? I read somewhere here that it’s only 4 bolts, but I see a lot more than that in there.

My hose coming from my rear differential pulled out from the top of the atv. It is still attached to the differential. Can some one help this novice and tell me where it is supposed to be attached on the atv. Pic is attached. Thanks
I got this 2010 Sportsman 550 X2 a couple of months ago. I got Duro Power Grips installed this past weekend and noticed I need new bushings in the front/rear a-arms. Figure no big deal… Looked today at the front to see if the ball joints and tie rod ends need replacing and found a bigger issue. The front gearbox/differential is missing one rear mounting bolt and the other rear bolt is there but the diff casing is broke. :scared1:: Is this a common problem with these?

I have a 05 predator I just bought recently everything seemed good. Then it all went to shit real quick. Couple months later rear carrier is done, the hole front end, bearings, tie rods ends, and ball joints. I took it out today and it seemed fine, then it started puttering and stalling when I would slow down and come to a stop. It did that for a couple hours then it stalled again and when I went to start again it made a noise and now it just spins it’s like the starter isn’t grabbing anything to turn the bike over?? Any help would be great thank you
