Hey guys, looking to purchase my first can am this weekend. I’m torn between the 850xt and the 650xt. Is the 850 worth the extra 1k? I mainly ride trails some mud but nothing too crazy. Quite a few hill climbs and things like that. What’s your guys opinions on the two? Are they both equal in reliability?

I have a 2006 sportsman 500 EFI HO. Frt diff intermittently stop engaging. Disassembled and found 1 spring on cage broken and adjuster plate worn. I have battery voltage to diff and 28 ohms thru the coil. I replaced cage with springs, armature plate, rollers and adjuster plate with OEM. Installed back in the machine and no AWD at all not even intermittent any more. Removed diff again energized coil with jumper batt. armature won’t hold cage enough to engage. What am I missing?

Looking to maybe get a little more out of my machine. Stock 97 300 4×4. Have 2" lift with 26" mudlites on itp rims. Looking to pipe and jet it for a little more power. What pipes do you perfer? Thanks.

new here we have 2 400trxex they have been rode hard and put away wet but couldnt pass the deal up ,,,,, 1 is runnin good , the other has had "some thing done to it as it is fast as hell , this one has problems , ok it fired right up , and ran great , 2 days later , crank but no start , a bit of start spray and it ran all day and started on one bump of the button , now cranks , good spark , has fuel , will not , fire . period … it has /had a tick at idle , and would smooth out upon rpms , i figured adjust the valves ,, i have not done this yet ….. any ideas of where to look next

So I just rebuilt the twin 700 and it ran great. I put all the plastics back on and have been doing test runs. It was running fine and all of a sudden it died. It started right back up and stumbled a couple time before it died again. I got it to run long enough to park in and now there is no spark at all. I know of the ignition upgrade but I wonder if it could be something other than that before dump more money into it. I seen where some people did the upgrade and found out it was not the problem, 700 dollars later.

I have a 2012 Honda foreman 4×4 and the pinion seal on the front end has started leaking a little oil. I want to know if the front chunk from a 2015 would bolt in mine or are they different. I want the newer chunk for the factory locker that comes in them. Just curious if anyone has tried this yet?

Put new carb on ran fine went out riding and sucked some dirt in it we thought. Was running bad got it home and it quit running. Pulled carb off cleaned was dirt in it. Now it wont start got new plug got great spark no fire. Did put a little gas in plug hole put plug in fires. Try to start with carb no fire you can crank it choke it think its flooded but pull plug and its dry as a bone. Just starting with carb on no air cleaner it looks like gas spitting out the back of carb. Put air box on same result no fire.
