New guy from London Kentucky

Hello all ! We just made the jump from riding a sport touring bike (Yamaha FJR ) to the world of ATV’s. We have been all over the country on the bike and felt that we’ve been blessed in that we have never had an incident or injury. ( I’ve been riding since I was a kid I’m 57 now ) We just purchased a 2017 Outlander L 570 Max and I am stoked to get going on it. I’ve got tons of questions about gear, accessories, riding skills etc. so, I’m sure you’ll see me posting with a lot of newbie questions. If any of you are in or around London Ky give me a shout as I’d love to find folks for us to ride with because at the moment we have nobody to go with. Anyway, thanks for the forums and good riding !

Why would the switched leads read 2.5 volts while key is off

I just installed a illuminated switch for a reverse light. Red when key is on ,Green when reverse light is on. Thats when I saw while key is off the Red led was still dimly lit.
While key is off,
My orange switched wires are reading 2.5 volts on the meter. And of course anything connected to them (hand, thumb warmer, and of course the just installed a illuminated light for a reverse light.
I unplugged everything down to the orange leads and broke out the volt meter

What would be the cause?
When I first got it I had a problem with battery dieing ,Took it to dealer, they said some mumbo jumbo about just needing a charge.
Now I’m thinking ….
if I left the hand warmer switch "on"while the key is off that would cause the battery to drop.
Any suggestions?

DWT Wheels On The Scrammy

Anyone running DWT Sectors on the Scrambler 1K?
I see the couple pics of the race teams running them on google images, but curious if anyone on the forum has any pics with them on a white lightning…?
Thinking of picking them up, but curious what the best options are for offsets to be a little more aggressive.

Leaking front diff AFTER changing seals

After expericing a significant leak from my front diff, I decided to change all three seals with the help of my buddy. Took the diff completely out and had to bring it to a friends shop so I could use the "seal removal tool". Everything went smooth and I was nice and gentle getting everything in. Fast forward two months, I finally get out to ride a couple times and when I get back, I notice some fresh gear oil on my garage floor. What could possibly cause new seals to fail like this or could there be another reason my diff is leaking??? Really pisses me off I spent a good amount of time, effort, and money trying to fix this problem and it slapped me right back in the face lol any input is appreciated thanks a bunch.
