Axle Nut Issues

Last year i purchased a set of HD axles from the CV man. i can get the axle nut, the nut that holes the axle in the wheel bearing, to stay tight. when i installed them, the first thing i noticed is that the collar on the nut is thicker making it very hard to bend it over into the slot on the axle. i have torqued them down, put loctite on them and tried my best to bend the collar over.

anyone else run into this problem? I am getting ready to pull the nuts off, drill and tap a small hole in one of the flats and install a set screw.

New guy from Southern Ontario

Hey Guys, i’ve been researching on this site for the past several months and finally bought myself a new ride! My first Can Am (or atv) ever and i couldn’t be more excited. I had an XMR800 picked out but decided at the last moment to go for a Max instead. I don’t mind building up my ride anyways…

Here she is!

And less than 24 hours later, i got her pretty much striped down and ready to begin installing the BRP rad relocate and BRP snorkel. Should be fun! :th_smiliepullhair:

Anyways, just wanted to thank everyone here for such a great, informative forum. Looking forward to meeting new people for riding.

Anyone use an electric pressure washer on their rzr?

I’m looking at pressure washers and want to cut down on the things I have to maintain around the house. So i’m looking at an electric pressure washer, i know its not the "manly" thing to do but its got to be done. I"m looking at an AR Blue Clean with 1900 PSI, i don’t need it to blast holes through the plastic, just knock the mud off. They are literally half the cost of a gas one and reasonably close to the same PSI. Any input on experience with these things would be grateful, thanks.

Got my first rzr

Hey guys what’s up! New member… New rzr owner… Its a good week. Finally got a rzr after all these years. Had to stick with a 50" to ride some trails here in Pennsylvania. I got it used so it already had a bunch of accessories. I do need some advice for a skid plate. That’s where you guys come in. :redrzr:

Kamfari 2015 Race in Darwin Australia

Hey guys, Competed in the annual Kamfari here in Darwin. Its a 4 hour race over a 13km Track. The winner is the guy that does the most laps in 4 hours ..simples.. Only there is Mud, mud and more mud. I think I used my winch more in this one race than the rest of the time I’ve owned my Grizzly. I’ve cut most of that out of the video, and its still 20 mins long. This is the first lap of the first race I’ve ever been in. I ended up coming in 3rd in my Class ( Veterans – Over 40) and 4th in the under 700cc Class. My Sony Cam died after lap two and I forgot to put a new battery in it…. In fact I forgot all about it …lol.. had other things on my mind. Best lap time was 38mins. came home with a Trophy, pretty darn happy with myself at the moment.

Wawota 2015 rally

Some pics from one of the major rallies in the area. We started early in the day. Only did about 30km and missed a couple of the mud holes as I was using water as a lubricant while towing the wife back into town. Read that there was 670 bikes registered for the ride
