Hi There, I have a 2001 Sportsman 500 6×6, A front wheel bearing went & ruined the Clutch & Electro Plate. I replaced them but it won’t lock in. I have good current to the magnet & it seems to have good strength and the wheel will spin when jacked up until i hold the wheel, then it stops. Got any ideas ??? Thanks " Chuck "

How the flip do you get the flipping ring in the drum !?!?!?!(!?!(!(!(!(!(!(!?!?!?!?
The drum won’t fit on over the pads with the ring installed, and I can’t see how its supposed to go in there after I slide the drum in place. What the flip!!!
Hi everyone. proud owner of a 1991 polaris big boss 250 6×6. found it rusting away on a farm. totally neglected for years. motor was stuck master cylinders for brakes frozen solid. Most of the calipers were toasted. Mostly apart in a pile in dump bed that was laying next to it. Cv were shot so they cut the shafts just out side of the yoke that slides on the front essentric. Picked up a parts trailboss that had entire front end intact. Got it all together and running and moving. Rebuilt carb replaced bunch of bearings. But now ive run into and issue. rear front (middle) axle bearings are also shot. Dealer or coroprate themselves can not give me bearing numbers for the axle or the swing arm extensions that go onto that axle to the rear. Anyone have any clue what the part numbers would be for those bearings? Im at a loss at this one. I have alot of money and time wrapped up in this project and dont want to abandon this due to not being able to find the bearings. ive since changed front fenders to white instead of the faded red almost pink ones. and replaced the nose and tank coverings to blue. Just havent taken pics since earlier today since i have changed them. And anyone have any clue if the dual calipers on middle axle are same calipers as the fronts?

Been lurkin’ around here a few weeks and seems to be some good info & knowledgeable guys here. Glad I found you all.
Gonna get right to it here.
The wife gave me the "green light" on GETTING MY OWN DAM 4-WHEELER that I could actually do something productive on like plowin’ the drive & using around the compound rather than just screamin’ around like I have been since ’87 on mine & useing hers as a tool. Said I was "abusing" her T-blazer now-a-days.:nixweiss:
Anyhow. I picked up this ’06 Scrambler 500 for what I thought was a hell-of-a- deal & getting into changeing out all the fluids like any responsable….. I find that this 500 drinks "0w40". :werd:
Call me crazy, but, NEVER heard of such a thing. Looking into this further, I find that it is quite expensive at that. Is there any alternative to AMSOIL ( not a fan whatsoever) or the Polaris branded lubes?
Any advice would be great. Many questions to come. GUARANTEED
Thanks.:hail:
