I am starting a conversion this weekend. I’ve had the trailer for a while now but am looking for ideas on floor layout, plumbing, electrical, and anything else you think is important or wish you had done to yours. I’ll post pictures as I go. I’ll be starting the build this weekend.
hey guys i got my old polaris 500 down for repairs , the stator went so the charging system wasn’t working (got water in pull cord) , i replaced the stator and regulator , the bike will idle now but pop and fart , even had a massive backfire at one point .soon as you rev the bike its highly under powered and pop and farting .. .. the original stator is no longer usable it fell apart etc , can anyone think of why after putting in a new stator it would do this? the bike ran fine before hand (had to charge battery etc) ..
ive done some air/fuel mixtures turns in the passed could this be a problem? .. im not sure i am stumped any help would be appreciated .. btw i do not have a light connected to the regulator at this moment maybe that is why?
Looking to buy a rear fox shock for a rzr4 800.
I am interested in just 1 rear but would consider a full set for the right price.
I would also entertain the thought of complete Aftermarket set as well
I use to ride to the top and before I sold my atv they shut it down. I recently bought another atv and went for a ride and noticed no signs or cable blocking it. Is it ok to ride?
If you were to design a cage for your personal needs….
Would you design it with a radius, or straight tubes?
What options would you add to your cage?
How do you like the rear bars to terminate? (With a bumper or in the bed or no back bars at all?)
Do the cage manufacturers already have everything thought out and covered all the bases?
Is there a certain style cage that caters to different riding styles? (Rocks, trails, sand, mud)
Would a cargo rack that is built into the cage that hovers above the bed leaving room for items in the bed be an option you would choose?
Just some curiosity on my part. I have several ideas for cages and would like feedback from those of you that have bought and installed a cage. (on any model). Anything you would do different, same, or add?
So here is my dilemma, I don’t have ownership for this at . I have the vin but the dmv will not do a thing for me without an ownership or notorized letter from the dmv in the province it is registered. I don’t have any contact info for the person I bought this from so I have no way of finding out who it is registered to in order to contact for a bill of sale or anything. Anyone have any idea how I can find this info ? I ran the vin through a Canada wide "stolen vehicle search" and it came up clean. It’s a 7 digit vin
Went out for some great riding over May long weekend, but had some lugnut issues (AKA some fell off). Stupid rider error, just hadn’t checked them in a couple days after some hard riding.
Thankfully no wheels fell off, but I did sheer off one of the bolts that you thread through the rims and put the lug nuts onto. Never had to replace those before, not even sure what they’re called?
So, question: What are those bolts called, and what replacement size do I require for a 2013 Honda 420?
2nd question: That one rim is a bit "ovaled" in one hole, how much is too much before I need to replace? If the replacement lug nut covers the entire "oval", is that OK to use?
Question about the front diff. All the clips are broken that I have. Do the clips that hold the roller bearings to the sprague do anything or are they just to help with easy installation. Polaris doesn’t sell just the clips you have to buy the junk sprague with it for 150$
Any info would be appreciated
