I have a 1994 Sportsman 400. I want to put an aftermarket Miknui carb on it. Does anyone know which model and size jets I should get?

Recently replaced my rear brake shoes on a ’95 300 FW. Cleaned everything up, greased everything etc. But the brake likes to get stuck all the time. Even if I back off the adjusters.

What should I do to keep this from happening?

Hello everyone, me and the ole lady are going to Colorado in a couple weeks (Nov, 19 through Nov, 22) and I was wondering about weather this time of year should I pack super heavy or should I just wait till about June to come up with the four wheeler? we’re from Oklahoma so we really don’t know if we should bring the four wheeler or not. I got a new jet for higher altitude. I really just don’t know what I’m getting myself into! We’re staying in Breckinridge. And thought about riding the Golden Horseshoe trail system Thoughts and opinions from all of who have been or live there would be great!!

It ran ok before rebuild but I had to and change petcock to stop gas leak and gas in oil. Now, with stock settings it starts great, isles but sputters and dies as soon as give it gas. Taken it apart several times to blow it out and recheck but can’t get it to run. Diaphragm looks good! One question, can I run it not connected to airbox to more easily get to air mixture screw and take on an off more quickly

ATV runs rich, won’t idle, but will run hard. Throttle body is black like carbon/soot.

I’m going to replace spark plugs…anything else to check for or replace?

Also, is there a cheaper place to buy equivalent of Polaris Oil, spark plugs etc?
Beings I’m on SS just trying to save $$
But I definitely won’t take short cuts if it will damage my machine!!

Hi all; just bought a one owner 2006 Sp Edition Griz; in pretty good shape but I should have looked at it more closely, all the brakes were worn through, right front CV joint is worn out, smells like gas, petcock bad, took part of it apart tried to rebuild the carburetor now I can’t get it to run worth a crap. It starts in idles fine, but as soon as you give it gas it sputters and dies. I’ve ordered some new parts to try to get the carburetor working better and while everything is off I might as well adjust the valves. It had been sitting for a while, there was about a half quart of gas in the oil.

i’ve read a lot of posts about people having the same problems with the carburetor and trying to get theirs it to run after a rebuild kit! I will post back what I find out on mine, any ideas that others have please pass it on, thank you

I broke the speedometer harness on my scrambler when I rolled it. The plastic on the harness was broken and the pins inside. Without buying the wiring harness for everything is there a way to splice in a new one or repair the current one? Any help would be appreciated
