Well here we go. So my 04.5 Sportsman has developed a knock in the rear end (right side i think) that is only there when i’m backing up, and its only there sometimes. I tried putting the back end of the bike in the are and giving it gas in reverse and no knock! its strange, anyway just wondering thoughts on what i might have to spend money on now. any help would be much appreciated. thanks!

I recently purchased a 2001 Sportsman 500 HO. The speedo was inop so no AWD. I did the bypass using the brown/white wire from the speedo to ground and nothing. I then tried the bypass using the thin brown wires under the hood and still nothing. Is there a way to test the switch to see if it’s connecting? Thanks in advance for any help.

I need help with a 7 digit vin #3205541 and a date # 01-12696. I think the date is pretty much explanatory for Dec 6, 1996. So I’m pretty sure that means it’s a 97′ model. Correct? Is there any other information associated w this VIN? Thanks in advance! Polaris 300 express 2 stroke.
