I have a 2012 Sprotsman 500 HO that will not start without starting fluid after setting for a week(not running). Spark plug, fuel pressure, fuel filter and valve gap all check out good. Please assist..
I bought a set last week. Got them Friday. I spent a day trying to get them to work. the left side was weld was off. real tight to get in. I was told with the kit it will allow me to put 30"s on my quad. well that was a joke spent a whole day trying to get them to work no luck. so now I went out and bought these junk a arms and new ball joints. what a waste of money. I’ll call them tomorrow to see what lame excuss I get. I hate dealing with companies that let bad quality out the door. And tell you something will work just to get a sale and come to find out it don’t
Thanks for allowing me to join! I recently purchased 3 Honda Fourtrax 300, 2 are 2wd and one is 4wd. I know these things are tanks and wanted to make sure I have Atv’s that don’t require me to work on them every weekend! Looking forward to learning from this valuable forum.
Over the weekend i found several times that my rear brakes would fade to nothing at all on steep incline /decline. The lever would go right to the bars but after a pump or 2 it would be back to normal but on any sort of flat ground they would work as they should. The master cylinder is full, havnt had an time to look further into it but i figured i would ask if anyone experienced the same problem.
Hey guys – I’m doing my first oil change and I am having a hell of a time removing the factory oil filter. I have a hard enough time getting more than just my finger tips on it even after removing the front wheel. If this was NOT the factory installed filter I’m sure I would have had it off by now but it is on there good!
Does anyone have any tips? Am I going to have to remove the skid plate to get to it?
I was a member here back in 2007 when my Grizzly 660 was new. The bike has been super reliable and my constant companion for every whitetail deer season ever since. I have even come home from work to find my wife missing and a empty spot in the garage where the Grizzly normally sits.
Even though I have enjoyed and religiously maintained my Grizzly, the odometer was telling me that I wasn’t utilizing it enough. With only 595 miles and 125 hours, I sold my snow blower and ordered a Warn snow plow kit. These new quick front mounts are slick and there is no loss of ground clearance, which was a big sticking point for me before.
Setting up the snow plow has rekindled a new interest for me in the Grizzly and I have been logging a lot more seat time. Now not only will I be dragging deer out of the woods, but plowing my 300′ driveway and getting back into those long rides in the snow covered woods with my old friend.
Picked up a 2013 outtie XMR 1000 Saturday and broke a rear axle the next day.No complaints about my first Can Am, I know I ride hard and with that much power things will break, no problem with that. I just want some better than stock axles and I do have a 2inch lift. What do you seasoned guys use for these beasts?
So last week I crank my bike (850 HL) up just to ride around because I haven’t ridden it much lately. When I turned the key I noticed the blue back lighting on the gauge didn’t come on but the rest of the gauge came on just fine. I didn’t worry about it too much. Well today I fire it up and it seems like the entire gauge pod is getting no power. Nothing lit up no numbers and the needle didn’t move. Anyone else have an issue like this or have any ideas?
