XP1K clutch failing before belt

I have an 2014 1000xp. I had to replace the clutch at 900 miles after blowing 3 belts. the new stock clutch only lasted about 350 miles before I lost top end and the clutch started sticking. Within that time in blew the stock OEM belt and I replaced it with a gates belt. there is aprox. 145 miles on gates belt. one of the rollers has a big flat spot while 2 of the weights have a good worn groove in them. My car is stock. I run mostly in the sand and run the stock knobby tires. I also use the stock 2015 upgrade clutch cover and I JUST installed a clutch fan.
So obviously the stock clutch isn’t working for me. Looking for a better solution. I don’t mind blowing belts but can’t afford to replace clutches every season or every trip. Any suggestions?

1000 s in truck bed

I have a 3/4 ton Ford with a short bed (6 1/2 ft), will the s model fit with my tailgate down? Also, I am thinking of trading for a new 3/4 ton long bed, as I want to be able to haul my camper at the same time. I can’t triple tow because of length restrictions in my state. I’m looking for any suggestions on how to haul a side by side and camper at the same time. Thanks!

Rear Cage Extensions

Anyone bought one as a bolt on item and happy w it? Please respond w pic and your thoughts, and where you got it. Thanks in advance. i had one delivered allegedly for the 1000S but the 1000 muffler must be bigger than the 900 and frame mounts wouldn’t fit. I spoke to vendor and they agree and are removing the product from their site (at least for 1000S fitment).

Did RZR1000s get upgraded/different clutch than the 900s

Been lurking around the forum for awhile. In the market for the a new S model RZR. Bee looking at the 900S forum to look at all possible issues that I might encounter as the 1000s forum still seems pretty new. From what Ive been reading is the 900s has a bunch of secondary clutch "chatter" I don’t think I’ve read any post that this "hurts" it but is annoying. On polaris website, the 1000s page boasts new and improved clutch..have we confirmed if this is correct or is the 900s included on this improved clutch? I searched but could not find anything other than speculations.. Talked to local dealer he said everything is the same between the 900s and 1000s other than larger cc through stroke or bore but I thought I read the 1000s got upgraded front differential..is that true?

Black Pearl RZR1000s question for Black Pearl owners

I am in the market for a new rzr1000s. Out of the current colors for the 1ks, I like the black pearl the best. What I am worried about is what it would look like a couple months/years down the road being black..this will be my first machine with "painted" plastics and do not know how they stand up to offroad abuse. For those that have had this color for a few months, how is it holding up? I’ve seen black atvs and dirt bikes look like total garbage after a few hours of use..Just seeing if i would be better off with the white lightening.. Thanks in advance

Some vendors don’t list S 1000

I’ve noticed many vendors dont specifically list product compatibility for the RZR S 1000. Typically XP 1000/900 and S 900 are listed on vendors websites but frequently no S 1000. Here’s the question and pardon my ignorance in advance. Is the S 1000 exactly the same as the S 900 just with the larger engine, and different graphics? If I were reviewing shocks for example and a website only listed the S 900 would they be a direct fit to the 1000? What about interior, dash panels, etc?

Fox Shocks on the 1000s

I was wondering what for adjustments the podium x has on the 1000s. I looked at the manual online and it was showing dual rate springs but for some reason I believe they don’t have that. Also is the high low compression setting together and not separate and is there rebound adjustment

V-Plow for S1000?

Unfortunately it looks like I will need to buy a UTV specific plow for my S1000. I’m not exactly sure what will fit.

Noob question 1) Is the S1000 chassis the same as the 900?
Noob question 2) who makes a really nice V-Plow for an RZR?
