New Machine…Another Question

Today I searched on this forum, for Throttle freeplay. Lots of posts however, not being a mechanic or that way inclined, I’m a little confused.

My pedal goes down about an inch before I meet resistance, then it is a very short distance to get the machine moving. Is this a normal thing, or is the cable way to loose?? Don’t want to dive in and then screw up the idle speed or a sensor. HELP !!! Please

Battery issue

I’m running two batteries. One factory and the other the 925L. I have an isolator run in between. Apparently I either wired wrong or one battery went bad. Last year seemed to do ok, but now my accessories are working fine which are ran off mainly second battery but my rzr won’t start after just a short while. Advice anyone ? Thanks.

Couple of Questions

Hi All, new to the RZR thing, just picked up a new 570 today, bare bones stock– sold my Grizz 700 yesterday.

Where do you mount the licence plate ??

Where do you attach the flag (for desert riding)?

I’m probably missing something obvious but any help is appreciated.

“off-brand” seats

I have two little boys that love riding in the RZR so i really need a bench seat…But paying $600+ is not an option.

Has anyone ever tried to source another make 50" UTV seats? Something like the pioneer 500? Or what about using a ranger bench in a rzr? Is that just silly? :scared2:

No Sway Bars – Shock Preload

I am pretty much brand new to the RZR community. Picked up my 570 in September, but in my neck of the woods riding is limited to the end of May through November. I have made a number of mods preparing for this spring and can’t wait to get out riding again.

After spending days…weeks…no…MONTHS scouring this web site, I am going to make the leap into removing the rear sway bars (I already removed the fronts). This is where I am really hoping for some feedback from those that have already done this. I realize preload settings vary greatly and are largely a matter of personal preference, vehicle, and riding conditions, but I would like to hear what works for you so that I get an idea where to begin.

I currently have a RT 2" lift with SATV springs on stock shocks. I think the springs are 150 lbs front and 225 lbs rear. Operator and passenger weights are somewhere around 450 lbs total, with about 100-150 lbs of gear. I ride in New Hampshire where the trails range from rocky and slightly technical to gravel logging roads. Speeds range from about 10mph to 30mph.

An input on a starting point for front and rear preload settings and advice is greatly appreciated!!
