been trying to fire up a 86 350 that hasnt run in 10 years,electric starter only clicks, have new battery, if I spray gas in carb,and kick start it, it starts., but wont stay running. what position is the gas valve supposed to be.also can you hear the electric fuel pump with key on .

I have a 2002 honda recon that I was using a pull behind mower deck from tractor supply in some really high grass where I was haveing to use the shift pedal to slow it down to keep the mower deck from dieing out. Then. It would not move at all I took it apart and the centrifical drum looked burned and the clutch springs where all broken. So I Replaced the centrifical clutch and now when you throttle it up it will barely move. It will get really high in Rpms before it starts moving could it be the drum warn out or are the other clutches bad or do I have the one way clutch in backwards I took it apart again and checked the clutch and it only moves clockwise within the clutch drum and doesn’t move counter clockwise like it says in the book .does anybody have suggestions or know of something else I can check. Hey everyone. I had to buy a new cup set, fuel strainer for my 1996 trx300fw petcock valve ( the bowl on the bottom). Just wonering if anyone knows the torque spec for this little thing as it is not in the repair manual and there is an O ring inside. Thanks muchly

I’m Having a hard time putting it in gear especially after it gets warmed up and getting metal in the filter. Anybody have any suggestions on what’s going on?The previous owner put a shift kit in it which I have no idea what exactly he ment by that other than maybe he put bigger springs in the centrifical clutch?

Hey guys! having alot of trouble trying to split the front differential case on my 97 honda foreman 400. more like im having trouble getting the front cv shafts to come out. Everything ive read said the shafts should just come out with a hard tug. We’ve had some strong guys pull super hard on them and still will not come out. we’ve had em pull from both sides and they wont budge. Ive tried prying and putting on the ground and tugging and nothing! if somoene could tell me what im doing wrong or some way to get these out it would be great!

So i finally got the foreman back together after sending it off to get it bored. I was riding it around to break in the rings and it just stopped and revved up. My final drive shaft that turns the front and back differentials was turning fine. Then i started to hear a grinding noise, but only when it was in gear. It wont move forward, but it will drive in reverse…what could this be????

Welcome to the forum. Please don’t post the same question in multiple forums. Tends to clutter up the board.

The cable is adjustable by tightening up the wing nuts on the rear brake cam. Try that and if it doesn’t help you’ve probably got water in your drum which will keep the rear brakes from working well.

Only way to fix is to take it apart, clean out well, replace all the seals, and all of that will be a temporary fix if you ride in water at all.

Hi Guys so I have another thread going right now regarding my 2002 400EX carb cleaning and disassembly etc.. etc.. etc.. and right now i was asking about a ballpark jetting setup for my quad so i can put the order in for my jets. Here’s the thing though I want and will pretty much only settle for Keihin jets. i don’t want Dyno Pro-x FMF or any of that other aftermarket B.S. jets in there.. I want Genuine Keihin Jets!! so with that said it seems like the only options i have found so far are ordering them through motosport which is a huge rip off because you’re paying $21 for 4 jets of the same size (who needs 4 of the same sized jets!?!?) the other option i just discovered and heard about tonight is ordering through this website called Jets R Us. According to their website they will sell me GENUINE Keihin jets individually which is exactly what i want because then i will only be purchasing and paying for the Jets that I need, not a bunch of unnecessary extra jets to pay for. Has anyone heard of or bought things from/done business with Jets R Us? do they seem like a high quality outfit? just wondering because this almost seems to good to be true haha:)
